I tried to get a cellphone with Fido and was brushed off by the employee. I was trying to explain to him about a promotional offer that was sent to me and all he could say was “I’ve worked here for 5 years and I’ve never heard of that..”.

Rude girl working there. Went to ask a question about my moms plan, and it was hard to hear her with her mask on and when I asked her to repeat what she had just said she looked visibly annoyed. Then when she asked my moms details to pull up she informed us the account is inactive, when we questioned it (as we should) she points to the computer and says come here and see for yourself. Like girl, it’s not that I don’t believe you but just explain it more clearly. Her attitude the entire time was horrible and she seemed like she rather be anywhere else. Maybe get a job where you don’t have to deal with customers in person since you seem so miserable. Didn’t get her name but she was black.

When I went to the store I was promised a certain plan for a certain price bye the Manager Moe but when it came to bill time The bill was twice as much so when I went back in he said he would fix it and not to worry - suffice to say nothing was fixed or altered like he promised

I have taken a plan with store where i have told that one time activation will be waived off and a promotion was also applied. They told me to call them up in case of any issue during the billing.In my bill, both the charges were there. I called up customer care and they don't have any information regarding one time fee waive off or promotion applied to account. I called up this store and now person want me to go to fido store to get this settle down.Fido team has done the mess up and they screwed up at their end. Now, they want that customer should go and clear it up for them. They believe believe that consumer has lot of time available to rectify the mistake done by Fido team.

Got a new phone 3 months ago today and, while I was there, the sales person talked me into signing up for a tablet that had 3GB of data for $15/month.I asked him if it was worthwhile / if the tablet was garbage, and he assured me that it was a pretty good tablet and that I'll be good.As this was right before the Christmas break, my life was busy and hectic and I never really had the time to sit down with it, but now that I've tried, I've realized that it's not worth any amount of money per month and that it's very close to unusable.I called Fido to ask what I could do about it and they essentially said that they couldn't do anything and that it was a he said/she said thing. He told me I could attempt to have Fido buy it back (for less than half of what I paid) or try to sell it on Kijiji (and continue paying the $15/month).Sweet. And that's only half of what this kiosk sucks.Anyway, a few weeks ago (before really sitting down with the tablet), we came back to get my wife a new phone and I asked the different coworker if he could do a few changes on my account - remove device protection, add my wife to the account, and apply a 10% discount for our second line that no one bothered to tell us we were missing.He told me that they were unable to do this in store and that I had to call, but when I called they told me that they have the same abilities in the store as the guy on the phone.In both instances, they weren't shy to tell us to give them 5 star reviews when we received a survey that followed and, unfortunately, I did so with the tablet dude far sooner than I could have.Avoid Fido if you can. If you can't, find a different one.

When I went to upgrade my phone it was not in stock and I was told to order online and come back with the trade in and I would receive a credit. Just received the new phone went to trade in my old one today and was told it is not possible anymore. Called Fido and was told nothing they can do! Poor service
