Stayed here for our anniversary and had such an amazing time. The suite was cozy and clean. The hosts were there if we needed anything. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. We spent our days adventuring and snowshoeing the local area and our evenings watching the sun set in the hot tub...perfection!

We had the pleasure of staying here for Our Daughters wedding Sept 2-5 2022. The Service was Excellent. Breakfast right out of a 5 star Restaurant. Room was fantastic. The view was Amazing. Randy & Eleanor are fantastic hosts. No matter what the occasion you must spend a weekend here. It’s a little slice of heaven. Definitely will be back. I can’t even put into words how beautiful this B&B is. You have to see for yourself!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Eleanor and Randy! They are wonderful hosts and Eleanor was our contact person during the planning process and officiated our ceremony. She arranged for the flowers, photographer, all decorations and set up and take down and dinner. We chose their intimate wedding package and added family dinner and ceremony guests. Originally, Eleanor was planning on hiring a chef for the dinner but that fell through so she put together wonderful menus and gave us so many options and she made the dinner herself and it was delicious. They also served us delicious breakfast every morning of our stay. Our experience was amazing, the B&B is gorgeous, and we loved our intimate wedding by the water. We are hoping to return for our anniversary and cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for an intimate wedding that is extremely stress free and decently priced or a super romantic B&B by Winnipeg Beach/Gimli then check them out!

These B&B hosts are amazing! The location was great, and the room we stayed in was clean and cozy. We had use of the hot tub which was nice on a cold night. We will for sure remember the dynamite food that was served over the weekend, just phenomenal. We will be recommending anyone and everyone to come, and we will likely book here again.

An AWESOME quiet place to unwind with a spectacular view of lake Winnipeg! It's a 50 min drive north on highway 9 from Winnipeg center!!Amazing breakfast (included with room) served by wonderful hosts, Eleanor and Randy, each am & a cozy room with a gas fireplace.Lots of privacy and access to a very free/shared hot tub so close by the room!! Access to free WiFi & basic cable with a flat screen TV in all rooms, this place has is all!For dinner and lunch options, it's very close to the Winnipeg Beach town all season restaurants and Whytewold restaurants!! Not far away from larger town of Gimli with even more restaurant options open year round!! I'm looking forward to checking this place out again in the summer!!

My wife and I spent a weekend there in the fall for our 10th anniversary. Every aspect of our stay was excellent. Food, service, venue. We will be back and highly recommend to anyone local for an amazing local getaway - or anyone visiting MB for the very best of what we offer for special hospitality in our beautiful part of the province along Lake Winnipeg.

Me and my wife Andrea were the first couple to start the wedding packages. Could not write in words how incredible our experience was. If you are thinking of having a stress-free beautiful wedding please consider going here. Best decision we have ever made :)

Thank you for making our stay wonderful. Truly enjoyed the hospitality! Our charcuterie board, fondue, and breakfasts were absolutely delicious (and very filling!) and our private dinner for 2 in the gazebo, beautifully crafted, set a very high bar as a birthday gift for my partner (and myself!)Our room (pier view) was pristine, warm and welcoming! Love the charm and atmosphere of the entire property. Thanks again - look forward to visiting again in the future!

Stayed in the Gardenview room January 2023 and loved every minute of it! The room is very cute, cozy and clean. It’s the smallest of the buildings on the property and is surrounded by lots of bushes and has a huge veranda. We learned that our room/building was the maids quarters back in the day (the property is over 100 years old!). The main building/cottage is where you have breakfast and the owners live, and the smaller building by the water has always been a two room guest house with the other two available rooms for rent (Pierview and Lakeview).I was sadly unable to meet the famous hosts Eleanore and Randy as they were away on vacation. However even while vacationing far away in another country they made every effort to stay in contact with me via email and ensured our stay was excellent. The people covering for Eleanore and Randy while away were wonderfully kind and accommodating as well.Their dog Jake was an absolute delight and such a good boy! We got one of the romance packages and wow was the charcuterie board we arrived to Friday night delicious. You can make specific requests for it if you want, and allergies/intolerances are always taken into consideration which was very nice. The home-cooked breakfasts in the main cottage were a delicious, and the room we ate in was gorgeous with lots to look at.We learned about the fascinating history of the property and discovered that it’s a Manitoba Historical Site. Apparently there are plans to include pamphlets for visitors with information on its history, and I would love to read about it online on the website in the future. It’s truly a unique place with an equally unique history.20/10, I would definitely come back here again!!
