Chafe's Landing Restaurant
We enjoyed the last dinner of our trip at Chafe’s Landing. It’s a cool place, with live entertainment upstairs. Parking is available for about 10 vehicles out front. Service was very quick.I had the lobster roll (chilled lobster tossed with mayo and green onion on a toasted New England style bun). It was mouth-watering. The fries were also the best I had on my trip.

Mirror mirror on the wall. Where can I find the fluffiest , lightest and delicious fish and chips (fried cods) or then all. Here ! Their way of making the fish and chips is uniquely delicious. We are from toronto and I don’t think I had anything like that. Yum plus you can’t beat the view and the vibe. Short drive from St. John’s must visit ! Oh their lobster rolls are great as well

After whale watching in Bay Bulls, we stopped in Petty Harbour/Madox to have lunch at Chafe's Landing. It was well worth the stop on our way to Cape Spear. The food is excellent, the restaurant is authentic and the service 5 star. All this and a very pretty harbour.

One of the best fish and chips in St John’s. Good service, could have been a little better but the food makes up for it! Definitely recommended!

Delicious!! We had the roast moose sandwich, lobster-roll and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Everything was delicious and service was super friendly. The live music was a definite bonus!

Chafe's Landing Restaurant
Had to check out this well known spot in the cute and quaint Petty Harbour. Loved the atmosphere. Had a great booth by an upstairs window. Loved that they had several cod dishes, and also some dishes with moose - don't see that very often! Mashed potatoes were real and creamy, fries were crispy, and most importantly the cod was fresh and flaky. Lots of deep fried stuff but if you're ok with that it's done right. I'd go back on a weekend to catch some love music. Great place!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We arrived around 1 pm for lunch. We placed our order and then we waited and waited and waited. We saw at least 4 or 5 other tables of people come in, get served, eat and leave and our food didn't arrive even though we were told it would be right out. Finally, 2 orders came. Then we waited another 5 min for 2 more orders to come. The others at the table were finished eating when we finally got the server's attention and told her my clam chowder and garlic bread had never shown up. She finally came back with 2 slices of plain bread but no soup! Another 5 minutes later, my order arrived after everyone had finished eating. I told her I expected there to be an adjustment with the bill!! The manager came over, apologized and the only compensation we were offered was a free dessert for the cold fish, and a 15% discount on my food. Not once did anyone come over and ask how our meals were, or offer my husband a refill on his coffee. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was awesome! We came in with 35 people and everything was handled perfectly! A big thank you to Brie, the servers and the cooks. The food and service was fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Chafe's Landing Restaurant
Worth the drive. Food was excellent and ambiance was top notch. I had the Cod au Gratin with dressing on the fries and a side of pan fried cod. Tasty and not greasy. Others at the table had the Vegan Lobster roll and the texture was great. The atmosphere lens to a fishing environment and servers are very attentive. Might be pricey for some but worth the visit still.Parking is limited to about 10 spots in front of restaurant but we found a spot near the bridge. Lots of No Parking signs around as residents are aware of the visitors to the area. Unsure if they ticket.
