Good people and service

The guys were awsome! everyone that came to our house was curious, polite, and acted in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend them for any of your furnace or gas fitting needs. besides the work that was done, there is no evidence that they were here. great clean up.

Lovely people and they will fit you in early if you are really needing it.They did condemn the unit, but it is literally 3 grand less to use a different company. 8900 compared to 5800 for a furnace installation.But they have a great reputation and are very nice people.

My wife called because there was a squeaking in the natural gas heater when it came on in the evening. The technician came to the house promptly which was nice. He shut it off and moved the blower some, which moves the air. Without further diagnosis he said it needed a new motor and they proceeded to find one in Prince George. The quoted cost for just the part was around 600 dollars, which for just an electric motor seems very high, I understand that things have increased in cost and therefore price recently but I feel this may have been inflated itself I cannot be sure. The real issue is that I, with a modicum of technical knowledge was able to clean service and replace the current motor fan assembly(blower) and resolve the issue. So i have two issues, 1. The motor was not needing replacement nor the bearings and 2. During the time when what I deem to be simple service of the unit my house was without central heat and had to rely on expensive and relatively dangerous space heaters. From this I draw the conclusion that the company either a)sent an unqualified technician to service my heat, which I believe is less likely or b) knowingly tried to get a much higher fee by inflating the level of service that needs to be offered. That leaves me wondering if they intended to even replace the motor or just clean the working one we had and say they did. Either way I found this interaction dishonest and distasteful, the person who answered the phone listened to my concerns when I phoned back and I must say was pleasant and kind.
