At first reading the reviews for this campsite I was not sure if I wanted to go, but I'm glad I did. The camp ground consist mostly of seasonal camp stalls. It seems like the owner is very loyal to the seasonal campers and thus does not tolerate anything outside the camp ground rules for short term visitors. Staff does come across rude but if you cause no trouble, there will be nothing to be worried about. Now, the camp ground, what an amazing location, full hookups right on the beach and spacious stalls. The beach is as big as a football field and the water is shallow making it warm and perfect for kids to play in. I will be going back again this year.

A awesome store! They literally have just about anything you could need. Everything from hardware stuff to groceries. The campground itself is very well kept and the beach view is nice. Most people get angry about the boat launch but fail to understand that isnt the stores launch its the county's.

I live out here Brian is a great assect to the community. Runs a great store will bring in special orders for you watches his expirery dates close on behalf of the public. Very good take out pizza and donairs. Brian and his partners also have a RV park and camp ground . The maintenance is always done it always looks great. People if your reading this come on out you wont be disappointed. I've lived out here for 10 years pardon the pun I've never run into a un happy camper .

They are ready for campers and visitors. Staff are ready to help and like old time general stores have everything from a to z. although I couldn't find a sink, they had everything you needed to fix one, even had network cables!

It’s nice but the beach is messy and not tidy plus the good side is that it’s good for the kids my son made three new friends in the last summer.

The ladies are very rude. I am not from the area but when I walked in and was told rudely and with a disgusting face that they were above the limit of people. I get it, but why do the workers have the worst demeanor and attitude? I will definitely not be stopping here again. But also we ordered a pizza and it was dry and cold!

Price location are good . Some the sites do need attention. The fire pits are not all in a good spots . Power plugs are also paired up in bad spots which leads to two people using one post. If my friends didn't have a extension cord I would of been done in for last visit. Good thing I've found here is the showers are kept up better than provincal camp grounds. Any good business would come up with better cancellation policy. 48 hrs is sufficient notice. Keep maybe $10 fee. But no money back no matter how early one cancels is not cool. Unfortunately very common with private business.Other than that Id say that some the other comments are spit on.

The boat launch is more like a rock launch...broke our propeller $400 job. No warning from the owner operator about how shallow or rocky. Friends came to visit for 2 hours from a nearby campground and were charged $5.00 each for an admittance fee. Went to speak to the owner/operator about this and he said, See

Don't think we'll go back. Owner/operator is rude, inflexible, won't go out of his way for you and charges prime prices to do it. Every step you take costs you another buck. Can't get firewood after 7:30 pm. ? Caters strictly to seasonal campers, Late checkout is 10.00. Firewood is 15.00 for a pitiful pile. Resort is a mislabel.
