Beautiful conservation area. The hike was easy to get to the falls. Trails properly marked. A very pleasant experience.

June 2023: $27 for 1 car 2 people. Nice long hiking loops. We did not try the bike trails. Very humid and buggy however, strongly recommend bringing bug spray.

A jewel of a waterfall where you can take stairs right to the bottom. Spring is the right time to enjoy the strong flow. And the adjoining reservoir is not to be missed. Another unique feature is the fire pit (with a free supply of logs) to enjoy a warm fire on a cold day.

Beautiful falls only a 15 minutes from Milton! The trail is perfect for adult and kids alike. Would classify this more towards easy to moderate, you can climb down to the falls after about 45 min hike, bring a change of clothes if you plan on going behind the falls and getting wet. It’s a really magical falls, it can be busy during the weekend, but I went twice during the week and it was fairly empty. Remember to book your spot through Halton parks, a reservation is required to enter the park, it’s a 2-3 hours slot for the reservation but it is enough time for this small trail and hike.

suburban forest path on a long mountain There is a large pool. There are many paths traversed. full of nature Able to inhale full lungs The waterfall here is beautiful. On the way you will feel the cool air. There is ample parking. Just load the QR code and scan it. I highly recommend this place.

The park itself is gorgeous! If you go at the right time, the falls are in full flow and you can go right down to the rocks and view it up close. The reservoir is also beautiful and the trails lead you to different lookout posts that have some great views. The only downside is the amount of flying bugs. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! Had to spit them out a couple times as they flew in my mouth. Might consider wearing a motorcycle helmet if I visit this time of the year again.

We visit Hilton Falls almost monthly! Love this place, year round. There are so many trails to choose from, bring a smart phone to follow along the trails. There are trail signs around but people seem to get lost none the less. There are outdoor vault bathrooms around the park and lots of spots for resting or to eat lunch. There’s also a few fire pits around and you can help yourself to make a fire if there isn’t already one going. Highly recommend going here to hike and experiencing each season. Some trails are stroller friendly too. Watch out for poison ivy and ticks - wear long pants tucked into socks or just be super mindful. Please wear proper running/hiking shoes, there are rocks and roots sticking out in some trails so you should have sturdy foot ware. And bring water! Especially if you’re the type who may get lost :)

Just one word about Hilton Falls: RECOMMEND! I have nothing but good things to say about the place. My positive experience started right at the entrance. The employee who was collecting entry fees, handing out maps of the park etc. , was personable, friendly and helpful and a very good conversationalist. The area itself was beautifully lush. The trails were well maintained (there are separate trails for biking) and easy enough for hikers with different skills (lots of families with little kids were there). One of the trails was a part of Bruce Trail -- that was a secluded rugged, tough area with lots of up- and downhills on a rocky terrain. The falls were worth the hike! But there was also a frog pond" there

It has a nice hike before reaching the falls. The falls are pleasant to watch and sit near. Be aware of mosquitoes if you going in the summer.
