Never have I had a dental team so committed to my comfort when I am in the chair. Accustomed as I am to experiencing pain during the most basic procedures (like x-rays) due to the structure of my inner jaw, in the nearly ten years I have been seeing Dr Yu, he and his team have made every effort to ensure I have a pain-free experience. Thanks!

We take our young girls here and I can't say enough good things! Dr Yu is kind and efficient. More recently, Ryan (dental hygienist) took extra time and care to make our youngest feel at ease. He and the front desk staff (I didn't get her name) were patient and kind and went above and beyond to confirm my coverage. All this at the end of their work day too! Highly recommend them especially for kids!:)

By far the best Dentistry Office in Waterloo! I always feel welcomed and answered promptly when coming in for an appointment. I used to have anxiety when coming in, (i don’t think many people LOVE coming to the dentist) But i assure you Dr. Yu and his staff make you feel so comfortable during every appointment. From general cleanings, getting fillings, to having teeth pulled, to just recently finishing Invisalign… i highly recommend going to the Dentistry in Waterloo! You will not be disappointed!

Was 5 years overdue on my routine dental care, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Dr Yu's office to pick up where I left off. Very calm atmosphere, a pristine office, and an exceptionally professional staff. My appointments were quick and painless - can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Yu is the best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Yu is a perfectionist who is always striving to get to the bottom of every issue and make sure that he is only making the minimal change that is in the best interests of my health. I can't tell you the times that if Dr. Yu wanted he could have saddled me with unneeded operations, but he choose to take the route that was in my best interest.I have been battling a perplexing with a very sensitive teeth that Dr. Yu patiently investigated with me; he even refused to take payment for a few sessions because he felt that his previous session wasn't up to his standard (though even his not-up-to standard sessions are probably good for other places).Highly recommend :)

I just came back from my appointment here and it was great! I noted that I get anxious when I’m at the dentist’s office due to bad past experiences, and all the staff were really friendly and kept asking me how I was doing throughout the appointment and making sure I was okay. They take very good precautions for COVID and I felt very safe while I was there. Being able to choose a Netflix show to watch while everything was going on was an added bonus and a good distraction! The dentist sat with me and explained the results of my x-rays, showing me pictures so that I could understand exactly what I needed to get done and where. Overall, great experience!

I’ve been Dr. Yu’s patient for about five years. It always takes the least amount of time to get the best result and pain free. Dr. Yu is the best. I will recommend him to everyone.

Honestly can't imagine any better dentist and team than Dr. Yu and co. Dr. Yu delivers an unbelievable painless needle and is the most skilled dentist I've ever come across. I have a lot of trust in him. His assistants are also skilled and professional and work well with the dentist. Together the team provides great care to their patients!

While the dentist and hygienists were good and the office is very clean and quite beautiful, the administration is deplorable. Incorrect billing each and every time I visited the office. I wasted a lot of time waiting for invoices and coming back when mistakes were made or being called at work to talk through errors the staff had made with billing. Disappointed to have to find a new dentist however it is worthwhile to not have the deal with the repeated frustration of clerical errors on each visit. I recommend this practice invest in experienced staff that can serve patients well from an Administrative perspective as well.

The entire staff at Dentistry in Waterloo is great! We feel welcome and important as soon as we walk through the door. The office is bright, comfortable, and very clean. Dr. Yu and his staff are friendly, thorough, professional and highly skilled. The office is also very kid friendly - my 7 year old daughter always looks forward to her appointments.
