I brought my car in a couple months ago to get a cross-province inspection. The car didn't pass and the mechanics at Gorge Vale gave me a quote for $2600. My car is in pretty good shape as I brought it in to the dealership before I moved to vic. I then took it in to another mechanic and passed the inspection. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here.

Gorge Vale Auto is an incredible business. I am not car savvy - it has 4 wheels and goes vroom vroom. I took my car to Gorge Vale and David took the time to explain everything that needed to be repaired, outlined what was the most important, and allowed me to decide how I was going to proceed. He never made me feel dumb that I should have changed my oil 2000km ago, nor did he laugh at me when I told him I just turned up the music to drown out the clunking. The entire process was relaxed, transparent and professional. And they cleaned my car to boot!! I recommend this business to anyone and everyone. I cannot say enough positive things about Gorge Vale Auto and the employees. Keep up the good work!

Never take your car there, I asked to have my A/C fixed, he said they did a test and all was ok so they added refrigeration, that lasted one day and they charged me $395 , light on dash plugged in there gadget, found nothing charged me $69, had a rattle in front end, had a look and said it was the struts, charged me $64, told me to replace struts $1100 , I purchased struts for $250 installed them in half hour. So far nothing fixed and cost me over $400. Took my car back about my A/C they said they have to do another test with yellow dye, after they told me all was ok. Now they say suction and discharge hose is leaking and to repair that would cost $484 after I have already paid them $395 to fix it. They said the part would cost $317 and would take weeks to get the part from the US, I purchased the part from Amazon yesterday for $50. And received it 2 days later. Anyone that takes there car there must have deep pockets.

I will never take my car anywhere but Gorge Vale auto. David and his team are amazing at what they do and I don”t trust anyone else to do a better job. Dealing with an issue with your car can be extremely stressful, but David has made my experience less stressful! Extremely professional, kind and efficient! Can’t rave about this auto shop enough!

Among all the repair shops on Vancouver Isle, Gorge Vale Auto is the most professional and methodical place that fixes complex problems on high-performance cars. Nigel, the manager and mechanic there, fixed the height of my Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, repaired turbo leak, and resolved clutch noise problems.These hard-to-fix problems have haunted my car for years, as other people were not able to resolve it completely. Now the car drives like new, and I’m so grateful that GVA fixed every problem everytime with a single visit.

Car had a check engine light on. They couldn't figure it out. Charged me $80. Gee thanks...

I know nothing about vehicles (other than I have a blue one). All I know is when it is not working I rely on someone to fix it. This used to be very scary for me. Is someone taking advantage on the fact I know nothing about vehicles? Do I REALLY need this? Thank goodness I found David and his crew. From taking the time to explain everything needed, telling me what's a must and what we need to look out for in the future. There are no surprises.I have never dealt with such great service. So professional. Thank you for going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed.

Easy drop off the night before and was finished mid morning. Absolutely nothing more done or suggested besides what I brought it in for. They were quick, friendly and courteous. My car ws even washed and cleaned inside. What a great experience. Thank you Fred and will definatley be back. I highly recommend them.
