the good: cheap accommodation for the summer in the city centre. large, furnished single rooms - there's enough room to not have to live out of the suitcase while you're here, and you don't have to share the room with a stranger. my room also had a sink, which was nice. a big desk too so that if you want to get work done, that's no problem.the ok: the furniture and the rooms in general look and feel very dated. location of power outlets was not great. there was no AC, but they did provide a fan (which was loud - also see below). there is no room service, so just be aware that nobody will come to take out your garbage or give you a new towel.the bad: LOUD. the surroundings are loud, the doors are loud (and lots of people just let them slam shut, which makes them even louder and makes the floor and walls shake), even turning around in the bed was loud... you better bring earplugs, especially in the summer as you'll definitely want the windows open. the fan is also loud, even on the lowest setting. the shared washroom facilities are pretty gross and in need of some serious TLC. like my elementary school was built in the 60s and I swear these washrooms looked and felt exactly the same. It depends on the stall I guess, but for example there are toilet stalls which don't even have a hook for your key or bag, and some shower curtains that are moldy and very disgusting generally. one toilet was just clogged the whole time I was there. shower stalls do not have any surface for you to put your stuff on while you shower. also, the rooms get hot. I had a room facing east, so basiclaly no sun during the day or evening, and yet I was baking in there.
