First time stopping in to shamrocks on Saturday. The gentleman working the pub was very friendly. When he took our drink order I informed him I was pregnant and he took it upon himself to make me a specialty mock tail. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and my partner ordered the wings. The chicken was hot and done to perfection and the wings were some of the best we have had on the island. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

Gone for breakfast a few different times and dinner as well , the owner is always present and finding new ways to upgrade his place. Great atmosphere and great little bar, we will be back always

This place has a great atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. This was my first visit here and we had the lunch special- Reuben sandwiches and beef and barley soup. Both were delicious, the Reuben was the best I had in Cape Breton. I'm looking forward to going back again to try the other menu items.

Great new pub. Excellent fish and chips on my plate! Enjoyed tremendously. Other's with me were just as satisfied with their choices. Great menu. Courteous staff. A must stop!

Awesome food and staff. Fish and chips is delish. Bar isn’t well stocked yet but they are doing a soft opening so I’m sure it’ll get better.So it’s been a year since my review, so here’s an update. Didn’t think it was possible, but this place actually got better. They have daily specials that’s not on the menu, but are awesome. I’ve tried everything on the menu and it’s all great. Honey hot grilled wings are the best I’ve had.St Patrick’s day party rocks, local bands and great atmosphere. if you get the chance, go!!!

Fantastic place! Patty took very good care of us. Service is amazing and best Guinness I’ve ever had - so very smooth.They take so very good care of you and food is also delicious.Absolutely recommend it!
