This company is a disaster. They deceive their clients especially international students and new-comers of Montreal.1. No respect for clients. As a client, my phone number has been blacklisted by their office (always goes directly to voicemail), because they don’t want time wasted on returning clients. They don’t reply email at all.2. I visited their office once last year. Big mess! People look depressed, anxious and don’t know what to do.3. Pricy. They charge about $150 for the most basic income tax.Advice: do some research, there are many good CPA’s in town, which have much more professional service and lower price.

I had been a client with Accotax for 7 years now. In previous years, I had always thought of them to be knowledgeable and provide great services.However, this year, has been quite disappointing. I submitted my taxes early April through their web portal (as I always do). Four weeks goes by and zero updates.All of my emails have gone unanswered, phone calls goes straight to voicemail (that is full).I understand that tax season can be busy, but at least communicate with your clients.Their services"

Filing for crypto trading/investing was a pretty bad experience for me. The consultant who they hired to interview me didn't take any notes during our calls, and had to ask me multiple times the same questions. Even after wasting hours of my time like this, he still made a major error, mis-reporting something like $20,000 worth of transactions. Very incompetent. After all that, they still had the nerve to charge me 5x they ever had in previous years. I refused to pay it and asked for a lower fee, which they complied with, but I will never file with them again. H&R block has crypto reporting now and only costs 20 bucks for the deluxe package. Incredible how incompetent and expensive Accotax was in comparison.

Pankaj is a real professional. While other accountants are unresponsive during tax seasons, this firm always makes sure to answer any questions or concerns.Highly recommended service.

I had some concerns with the customer service and reliability of this company. Despite submitting all required documents a month in advance, I have yet to receive any updates. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company, but unfortunately my calls were either directed to a full voicemail or I received vague promises of updates from the receptionist. While I understand that delays can happen, this lack of reliability has caused inconvenience. I would suggest considering other options if timely tax filing is a priority for you.

The best office for personal taxes I’ve ever worked with!! Last year I filed with a different accountant and had to deal with many mistakes. Pankaj and his team handled my file very well, I literally just had to give my papers and dealt with zero headache throughout the whole process. I recommend to anyone in downtown to use this office

Not sure why there's so many positive comments here as the experience I've had was very disappointing. I emailed them requesting for tax service a month and a half before the deadline, and were quick to answer me, saying they were accepting new clients and then sending me to their website where I'd need to upload all my tax forms and fill out all my info. 4 weeks later, no response, phone number goes straight to a full voicemail, emails unanswered, all with my private information sitting on their website. I've removed everything (hopefully they haven't backed anything up...), and found much faster and better service from H&R Block.

One of the best companies for filing taxes in downtown. The team is very knowledge and Jida was especially helpful in getting me the help I needed. Would recommend to anyone.

I had been a client for years and it was so far a good service. This year I came in early March to file my documents for this year and they made me wait for over a month just to tell me they lost them. Went twice to the office, called several times, sent emails, never got answers nor my documents back! Beware!
