I have taken all my pets to this clinic for over 16 years now and have happily recommended them to all my pet owner friends.Dr. Tsang, Dr Burnett and the team are top notch, provide quality care and service, with the utmost professionalism and compassion.Honestly, I wouldn't consider any other clinic.Keep up the great work!!

These are the best people in the world. They helped me and really understood my dire situation. I know it's a business but every vet in this city can learn from Dr tsang and the empathy that flows within her

I have been taking my cats here over the last 25 years. I even used to volunteer there as a teenager when Dr Van was there and the owner of the clinic. He was such a compassionate man towards the animals and would do anything for them. He would be devastated to know what the clinic has turned into.On our most recent visit We were told we had to give my cat medication because the vets “couldn’t handle the animal“ so we did that and the cat has been sick and lethargic ever since and it’s been over two weeks now. Due to Covid, we are not allowed to go inside the clinic with the cat so we weren’t able to see what was happening. My cat is not aggressive at all however he does struggle with stranger anxiety but any trained vet should be able to handle something as simple as that and be able to hold the animal while the other person does the exam yet we were told that even with 2 to 3 people this is not possible and so to be told by a vet that they cannot “handle him” does not give me much confidence in them. As such they were not able to give the cat an exam at all yet they’re quite happy to charge me for it and when questioned about it I was told that “well there’s no separation between the two prices of injections and exams”. I’m pretty sure they set their prices so I don’t see why the two cannot be separated due to the circumstances.I’ve called a few times since to inquire about the side effects my cat has had from this medication and every time I call I get a different answer from whomever answers the phone. Not once have they called to check in to see how the cat is doing yet they are more than happy to take almost $200 from me for three injections which resulted in a seven minute visit. I thought the human dentist was expensive where are you pay $200 but at least you get more than seven minutes! This will sadly be the last visit we will be making to this clinic as it’s gone downhill dramatically in the last few years since Dr Van unfortunately passed away and new ownership and management came in. Now it seems to be all about the profits and very little about the animals. In reading through the other reviews here it looks like I’m not the only one that feels this way.

They prescribed and charged medication for my girlfriend's cat that wasn't needed. She was told it was a higher dose" and didn't think to question it at the time

My four dogs and cat are treated here since the 1970’s when Dr.vanden Brink was the only vet at BMVC.On April 6th ,2023 , I took my dog to have the seasonal heart worm blood test. Also bought 9 tubes of Revolution for dogs, however when I got home I noticed that the expiry date of the medication is just a few months away in 2023. this means the dog is going to get expired medication for the last two doses. How can they do that without thinking? There is an orange label on the package of the medications : “Medications cannot be returned”. But if they give me some medication that will expire before the 9 months , is this ethical? It costs almost $40 a tube, which is about $17 more than if I buy it at a Pet Pharmacy with a prescription from the clinic.I bought Revolution for dogs from BMVC many times before but this is the first time they gave me medications that will expire before all the doses is going to be used.In 2022 I also bought the same medication but the expiry date is 2 years after I bought it (expiry date 03/2024).

I brought my Rottweiler Bella here for her first wellness check up and round of vaccinations & all of the staff are amazing. The front desk receptionists are so welcoming and kind, the veterinary assistants were also wonderful. We saw Dr. Tsiang and she was the most empathetic, kind and patient vet I have ever been to. No upselling, lots of understanding for budgets & spacing out appointments. Very proactive in setting up future appointments. I honestly can't recommend this vet clinic enough. I love it. Also they have the cutest cat just chilling around in the clinic!

They said my cat needed to be sedated for a haircut and because of that bloodwork must be done. They were charging $300 for bloodwork, cannot remember how much for sedation..over $50 anyways..I don't know what kind of drug they were using but I know how much Ativan costs. The haircut ended up costing almost $400. Dental cleaning is $2000 while my own human dental cleaning costs $120. My cat has been going there for many years and in the past they were caring, honest and fair priced. I don't know what have changed all of a sudden.

The vets here (Drs. Tsang and Burnett) were very kind and professional whether we visited for simple annual tune-ups or for more serious issues. As my precious doggo neared the end of her days, they were patient and supportive. Front desk team and the techs were all a pleasure to deal with. If I can ever bring myself to get another dog, they will be a BVM patient for sure.
