Barbour’s General Store
This a really great location in the summer to get little gifts and it is very popular among the city locals bit even more popular with the tourists especially when the cruise ships come in and they tend to attract a very trendy crowd. The staff are very friendly and the service is really great as well. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a unique experience.

Your one stop spot for information and local heritage. Barbour’s General Store is an authentic 18th century general store that was restored in the late 1960s.The incredible team here, whom are responsible for bringing the antique and cultural tour scenes to the local public, are very welcoming and knowledgeable of just about all there is to do and see in the region.You are able to purchase tour packages here, as well as some remarkable oddities that have survived from the shop's original 18th century stock. Fancy a 100+ year old chocolate bar?No matter what your business, if you are new to the area, or looking to learn a little more, you absolutely must visit the Barbour's General Store.

If you're new in the city, swing in for the tourist information (maps, self-guided tour, recommendations, etc). More importantly the friendly staff will provide short history behind the store and the city.

Cool spot to check out old fashion products that people could buy from the general store a century or two ago. Also received good info about the Reversing Rapids there.
