White Cliffe Terrace Retirement Residence

My mother-in-law just moved into White Cliffe Terrace in Clarington. We searched for over a year for a suitable retirement home for her and decided this was a perfect fit. The staff has went over and beyond to maker feel at home and comfortable in her new surroundings. It has a beautiful dining room and the food is excellent. The ladies she sits with have made her feel at home. The bistro has snacks and coffee available 24-7. We feel she has made a good choice and highly recommend WhiteCliffe. Thankyou to all the staff.

My mother moved into White Cliffe six months ago. She has been made welcome, loves her room, and is very happy that she has something to do every day. There are games, entertainment, and lots of activities. The residence is small enough that she can find herself around despite a sight disability, and large enough to provide a good variety of meals, companionship, and a full-service staff. I work at White Cliffe as the new Life Enrichment Manager - I have been working within this industry for over 8 years. I absolutely love working here! It is such a privilege to positively impact our residents, keeping them active, and learning about their histories. We provide a range of activities from fitness classes to baking club, entertainment, themed events, bingo, art classes, trivia and more!From management to staff team members - everyone here at White Cliffe is dedicated to providing our residents with the best care.

As the dining service manager at White Cliffe I take great pride in being a member of the team there. The positive feed back from the residents is a rewarding aspect of my career. As restrictions from the last two years are being lifted we all look forward to being able to offer more great programs and amazing dining experiences to our residents and their families.

My mom decided she was ready to move into retirement living. After an extensive tour of other facilities in the Oshawa, Clarington area, we all agreed White Cliffe would be best for her. I am happy to report she loves it here. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my mom is comfortable, entertained and fed an excellent selection and variety of meals. They provide a monthly calendar of activities for the residents and my mom is engaged in as many as she can. White Cliffe worked with us to accommodate her specified move in date and she was lucky enough to move in to a newly, fully renovated unit. She has made several new friends, and continues to entertain her family and longtime friends as usual in her lovely new home. I would highly recommend this residence for you or your loved one.

It was a difficult decision to move my husband's mother but the folks at White Cliffe bent over backwards to make it easy for us. Now my mother in law enjoys the weekly outings and feels a lot less lonely. It has only been a few weeks and she is still settling in but everyone at White Cliffe is working hard to help her feel settled and we are thrilled she is only 5 minutes away. Christian Ann is so understanding and never made us feel like we were asking too much. The general manager Anne also made herself available at all times even over a lobg weekend as did Mark which we sincerely appreciated.

Since I live in Australia, it is extremely important for my peace-of-mind that I know my 96-year-old Mom is well-taken-care-of – safe, happy, mentally and physically active and enjoying a good quality-of-life and care. The staff at White Cliffe provide all that and more.The facility is maintained impeccably, the communication is timely and transparent, the activity calendar has something for everyone, and the staff go out of their way to make every resident and every day feel special.Mom loves her apartment and calls White Cliffe home. She has been there now for 10 years. I am so grateful that we found White Cliffe.

My mom was a resident at White Cliffe before her passing this year. The quality of life and care that ALL the staff at White Cliffe provided my mom was absolutely second to none. She would constantly talk to us about how friendly and how much everyone from nursing to administrative etc, went out of their way to look after her. They truly treated my mom as if she was family and provided her with all the support that anyone could ever ask for. There are just way to many people to thank from the Independent floors to the assisted living area. Well done everyone and thank you for everything you did for mum
