This visit was fine. The fruits were in great shape.I have had much issues with the meat section of this place. My last 3 visits, the meats were bad. Smelly, even in the fridge section, off color, shiny and slimy. Yes, the whole section, from pork to beef to chicken. So I stopped shopping here (my last visit was a long time ago). I didn't need meat this time, so I can't comment on the quality Now, but to be honest, that last meat experience turned me off of even trying to buy it there ever again (I mean, How can they allow there to be so much bad meat for 3 weeks straight?? Yes, it was 3 weeks. I tried again a week later for 3 weeks to get meat before I gave up. ). So far it seems like the other products are generally fine.

Disappointed and extremely frustrated. Labels and products in the grocery department are often mixed up or missing. Sale prices and Optimum deals are left advertised from previous weeks. Found expired yogurt on multiple occasions. Had a fly in my ground beef and was given the option to “trade it in” upon returning - a new one should have been free. Despite the friendly cashiers and small quaintness of the store, I am never going back. It’s not worth my time, energy or money, much of which I’ve lost due to wrong labelling.

It was a clearance sale at Provigo because the store is being rebranded to it's sister concern; Maxi. I bought few items as the store was pretty much empty. Looking forward to visiting soon under the flagship of Maxi ( grocery store).

In the past week I have purchased various items that have had mould in them: two packages of Ziggys sliced cheddar cheese, one package of Olivieri fresh ravioli, and one package of Fontaine sante extra firm tofu. AllOf these items were well within expiry date and were not past due. I haven’t brought them to return to the store because it kind of seems pointless as I haven’t discovered the mould until time came to cook the items. I don’t know if they received a bad shipment or something, but it’s pretty weird and disappointing.
