Wee Thunder Amps

I had Shane from Wee Thunder build a clone of a 150w Sunn Model T and reduce the wattage down to 20w. The amp sounds like a perfect replica of a full sized Model T but with a tolerable volume.Excellent point to point construction, beautifully wired, cleanly soldered, and solid construction of the chasis.Shane went to great lengths to make sure the amp was exactly what I was looking for. He gave me every option available from which knobs I wanted to which caps and transformers were used in the construction. Beyond that, when I didn't have enough knowledge or experience to have an opinion, he explained the differences, which he preferred from experience, and helped me decide which would be the best setup for the specific amp.During construction, I was given regular updates as to where things were, which components were on backorder (thanks pandemic), and several demos confirming the correct sound for the amp.All and all I found the experience fantastic and easy. These are not shelf amps that have been manufactured en masse for instant pickup, they are hand made boutique customs that can/will be exactly what you as a player order. I couldn't be happier with the results and customer service. If the day comes that I need another custom build, this is where I'm turning.
