BCMInns - Peace River

It's a bed with a roof over your head. Slept well while I was here. Service was excellent, with free laundry. Decor was a little dated, but functional. Free Wifi with decent speed, I was able to watch Netflix with no problem. Includes Keurig machine. Nitpicking, but the lamp was stained. The fridge didn't close properly. Pool and slide were closed when I was here, looks like they are renovating. For a 1 star, it's pretty good. Nothing fancy, but get's the job done.

Rooms wasn’t as advertised in photos. When we got there the walls were rotting and the toilet flush were broken. The guy beside our room had a key to ours and we had to physically close the door to keep him out. We called the reception and they just told us to double lock the doors (when we got out of the room, the guy apologized that he wasn't informed that the room is occupied, tho having a key to our room is still sketchy) After we got back from eating dinner outside, the guy who had a key to our room was blaring loud music outside and drinking. We didnt feel comfortable and we couldnt sleep because of the loud music so we ended up checking out at 11pm and going to a different hotel instead. We ended up staying at high points hotel instead, and we ended up having a better time. The price difference was only $10 and we got what was advertised. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I had an awesome weekend getaway in BCMInns this wknd. The room was clean and comfortable. In this time of covid pandemic, I appreciated that cups in the room were all individually packed. Room temperature is easily adjustable in the room. The staff team was amazing. Tony Barber in particular was very helpful and he went extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Location-wise, a beautiful running/biking trail along the river is literally a min walking distance away! It’s also close to downtown, several restaurants (wow grill was great!) convenient store and a big grocery store- all within the walking distance.

It's just like the photos. The bedding needs to be updated but aside from that, the bed was pretty comfy. Customer service from Brian was above any beyond. He made our stay better. Price was very very reasonable. Wifi and parking was included. Easy check in and check out. I thought this place was going to be more ghetto given the price we paid for a last minute stay but it was a lot better then other places that we payed more for. Again, aside from the out dated duvet, I was happy with our stay. Had to come up to peace River for work and ended up lodging here as we were too tired to drive back to Edmonton. Bathroom was clean, they had a microwave, mini fridge, Keurig machine and extra pillows which was nice. Thanks again Brian for an excellent experience. We will stay here again when we come back regardless just because you were dope.

I went to Riggers restaurant. They have the best Chinese food in town! And the best Riggers Burger in thos part of the country.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. It's definitely dated, but worth the price. The bathroom was surprisingly nice. I loved that it was a deep soaker tub after a long day of traveling. It's in walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants, and the lovely Riverfront Park. The two clerks I interacted with were both lovely and very welcoming.

You can't expect much cause it’s one of the cheapest hotel you could get using Hotwire. That’s why I put 2 stars instead of 1. But man that hotel room was not clean. As you can see on the pictures, there was still men’s hair in the bath room and the shower needed some love. There was also an ant coming on me in the evening. That’s not a thing that bothers me in the wild while camping but when you pay for a room, you want a minimum of cleanliness. This room didn’t meet my minimum standard. Oh, and also, the AC was more of a fan than an AC. I had to put it off before going to bed cause it was wayyyy to loud.It sound like I’m complaining a lot but see for yourself.I will definitely go elsewhere next time.

Stayed over for one night on business, the room was very quiet, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the guy at the front desk was super helpful when I couldn't get the TV to play right away. The bathroom was actually nicer than I expected and overall was just great value for one of the lower priced locations in Peace River. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived in peace river tired and ready to relax. I called around and found this hotel.. i needed pet friendly. The lady at the front desk who lives above was AMAZING!!! So friendly and exceptional costumer service. Our room was definitely outdated but nice and clean. The TV had more options then most of the ones we stayed at south of here and i felt very safe in my room and the location.

Lots of room, cozy with an amazing bed and wicked shower and pressure . Best thong is they have a huge nice clean bath tub ,newly renovated.
