Thank you for making math extremely engaging and making lessons a joy to attend. I cannot explain how grateful I am that I had you as a teacher. You helped me to achieve a 100% in the math section on the SSAT upper level, and I could get into a school I wanted, all thanks to your lessons in math.

Attended for help during my last two years of high school in mathematics and English. Taught me ideas in mathematics intuitively and achieved high marks in all my courses as a result. I was missing a lot of the foundations but helped me overcome those difficulties.

I've been sending my 7 year old here for the past year. First math academy so far. After checking our Spirit of Math in SK, I realized that it wasn't really worth the money and put aside any private math instruction for more than a year. The instructor to student ratio here is phenomenal (very small group it almost feels like semi private) and it's more affordable than the Spirit. She's had two teachers so far (two different classes) and they are all top notch. Never really trusted online classes before but with the pandemic, even the online classes proved to be worth the money. As a writing teacher myself, I am pretty confident that they know what they are doing here. My child is a straight A student, and she's very happy here. Highly recommend.

My 8yr old has been attending for 2 years now and I am so glad she started when she did. Math is now her favourite subject! She has gained so much confidence in math which has been so great to witness. She actually enjoys her math class and doing her daily math homework is a fun activity for her. I will definitely be enrolling my 6 year old this coming year!

Descartes has been incredible. The knowledge I gained is exceptional and very well suited for upper year high school courses. TK devised each session carefully to meet my specific needs. I was very pleased with all of the tips and personalized recommendations I received during test preps. With him, I was able to assess my learning and grow as a student. I also recommend English with Descartes. The tutor helped me in ways that made me feel accomplished with my writing. He proofread my essays thoroughly and provided me with detailed suggestions. The instructors were always there for me whenever I needed help. I am beyond glad that I was able to have Descartes alongside my last two years of high school!
