I would give Cassie and Arliss 100 stars! With a wealth of knowledge about horses, training and this industry, they have been incredible with me as a novice rider & new horse owner. They are also both very supportive, patient and go out of their way to assist with their client's goals. Would highly recommend Thorbrooke Equestrian!

After 30 years being absent from the saddle, I could not have found a better barn to pursue my passion. Cassie and Arliss are a great team, always working together to have you improve your riding skills and general horsemanship. They have the knowledge and expertise for the beginner riders and also provide the coaching and training environment for the competitive riders and horses. The barn is well-run and the facility has everything you need. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Thorbrooke Equestrian.

My daughter recently started riding at Thorbrooke and she loves it!It’s a beautiful, professional facility with all the amenities, located very close to trails and Campbell Valley Park. The owners and coaches Arliss and Cassandra are amazing. Everyone there is respectful, friendly and helpful. The barn atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The horses are very well trained and very well taken care of.I highly recommend Thorbrooke as a great place to train and be a part of an awesome barn family!

It's a very nice, professional facility, at a charming location with easy access to trails. People are lovely, the atmosphere is always friendly and supportive. Cassie, Arliss and their children are awesome, they truly care about the horses and the riders, no matter what level you are on. I was not planning to buy a horse, but I fell in love with one here, Cassie and Arliss went above and beyond to help with everything. Definitely my happy place.

My teenage daughter has been taking riding lessons at Thorbrooke Equestrian for the past year and a half. She loves it! Her instructor Arliss is patient and explains everything thoroughly. I’m impressed with the quality of lesson horses and tack my daughter has been able to use. I’ve found that all the other horse owners and kids taking lessons have been very friendly and create a relaxed and fun environment. The barn and indoor riding arena are fantastic and the horses all seem very happy.

I (an experienced horse person of 20+ years) have been riding at Thorbrooke for ~4 months now and in that time I have not only learned and improved an incredible amount, but rekindled my love for horses and riding. Both Cassie and Arliss have gone above & beyond to make me feel welcome and part of their barn family. They are exceptional horse people who truly care about the welfare of their animals and the people around them. Together they have a remarkable amount of knowledge and experience that they have crafted into a well run business. Anyone who rides/boards/trains with them is very fortunate to do so and I cannot say enough good things about them.

I fully concur with all that has been said so far about Thorbrooke and its owner, Cassie. I have dealt with quite a few clubs in my life but have never come across such an erratic personality before. She was rough in her dealings with me as a client, and her rudeness and condescending behaviour and attitude were overbearing. She used intimidation tactics to insinuate that the client could not handle a horse properly and did not fit in with others. She also claimed that my daughter mistreated her horse. I had to stop her badmouthing my daughter and let her know she was not a professional to pass judgment on her client. She also charged my daughter for training while she knew my daughter had an accident and didn't have a car to go to Thorbrooke. When I questioned her, she got very rude, and I had to handle her with care because she still had our horse there. It was such a nightmare dealing with this person. We decided to sell the horse, but finally, we preferred to move the horse to another friendlier location where the horse would be happier. I wonder how a person like Cassie, who doesn't have any people skills, can run a business that deals with people.

Our young daughters have been taking beginner lessons since the summer (about 5 months). The coaching from both Arliss and Cassie has been monumental in teaching them proper riding fundamentals. They have created a safe environment that is fun! The barn is well managed, the horses are quality and the training has been top notch.

Wonderful facility and great lessons! Cassandra spends the time to tailor and focus lessons. Constantly learning new things to enhance my riding and partnership with my horse. Family friendly barn and always lots of fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful facility! Arliss is an incredible coach with insightful advice and techniques that have improved my riding. I highly recommend Thorbrooke, Cassie and Arliss are such welcoming and great people.
