This is one of Ottawa's best hidden gems! If you like to paddle whitewater or just want a beautiful spot to connect with nature and be inspired by the paddlers in the rapids, this is the place to go!

'The Pumphouse' Whitewater Course
This is the clubhouse for Ottawa River Runners. You will need to join the club and sign up for a camp or class on their website to access the whitewater course located here. The clubhouse is neat, but bring your own drinking water. My son participated in a Level 1 camp here and just loved it. A great way to cool off during the hot summer weather. Camp counselors seemed very competent and took great care of their charges. We would definitely participate again.

This place is great for just observing the kayaking. Staff are super and know their stuff. There are courses for kids and adult .the atmosphere is great nice scenery. Right in the heart of Ottawa.

We drive over an hour just to come for the food and atmosphere. Everything always comes out tasting absolutely amazing. I love the values that the company holds by buying locally and the time they put into their food. Also....their stout ice cream is unlike anything I've ever had before and highly encourage everyone to try it, wether or not you still have room after dinner!The live music is always amazing as well
