We purchased an h and h thumb and bucket for our new komatsu 350 excavator. After 700hrs the thumb cylinder tore apart. H and h said it was because of abuse. Within 200hrs another cylinder tore apart. Once again Chris at h and h said that it was abuse. Within 150hrs the same thing happened. Once again abuse was there response. Another 150hrs and another cylinder tore apart. Finally Chris came and looked at it. We sent the whole thing to their shop and there final way to resolve it was to fix the last cylinder and say it was because we were abusing it and they would not fix it again. The machine we had before had 13000hrs on it and had the original thumb and cylinder on the machine. It was the same operator as was running the new machine. The only change was the thumb. My biggest issue with H and h is that they never really tried to figure out why the cylinders were tearing apart but it was more to figure out why it wasnt there fault. I would definitely not recommend this company for any product mostly because of there customer service. When you read the customer service statement on their website it is anything but true.
