Who knew doing your taxes could be fun? I'm a long time customer and enjoy the upbeat and knowledgeable staff. As for Judy and lunch, CRA pays.

If I could give no stars, I would. I had a horrible ending to my relationship with Stage One Accounting this year. After being their client for over 5 years, they suddenly went MIA in early 2018 and were not available for me to file my 2017 taxes, despite me calling and emailing repeatedly. Their phone was even out of order and website was offline; I figured they'd just gone out of business and left all their clients to figure it out. I was out of the country at the time or would have gone in to investigate in person. This week I got an email that they're moving and asking if I want to pay to have my tax receipts mailed to me or come pick them up. I emailed back, voicing my surprise at them being in business, and my disappointment in their services. My complaints were ignored completely in their responses. I called them to get an apology for their terrible service to an old client, and spoke to an arrogant, flippant and rude young woman who refused to apologize for their bad service, said Judy couldn't care less and wouldn't be calling me back, and that she'd seen my emails from earlier this year come through, but hadn't acted on them. My family has never been happy with their services, and I've had friends who tried to use them as well, but quickly quit after they filed taxes late, caused fines and lost" documents. They have no regard for providing good service - just good enough to get paid. Use them at your own risk. You'll only end up audited

I've been with Stage One Accounting for over 10 years and have always enjoyed my experience with their team. Judy is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

AVOID!Had Judy Rhodes deal with my taxes, I couldn't believe how incompetent she was for being the business owner. It was like she knew nothing about tax law, I ended up getting flagged by CRA Because of her and was audited. I went somewhere else and they sorted things out in no time.

AVOID AT ALL COST (CAUSE IT WILL COST YOU)Had them do my taxes, I couldn't believe how incompetent they were to the point where I got flagged by CRA and now 3 YEARS after I have dealt with them, I got a call from a recovery company asking me to pay them. WHEN I HAD ALREADY DONE SO... very frustrating. I didn't want to stress over this so I paid it, but if I was in a different financial situation, I would have never been able to pay them. taking them to the Better Business Bureau. (keep in mind I had already picked up my files and everything few years back)

We've been with Stage One for a few years now. Terri is a delight, very knowledgeable and always professional. Judy has been a huge help with her knowledge and is always available for questions and information. The support staff are great as well, always ready to help where needed.
