Maxx Car Rental

The guys I dealt with at Maxx Car rental were super friendly and easy to deal with. Fair price and very accommodating, unlike other car rental agencies that make you wait in massive lineups and treat you like a criminal by scrutinizing every inch of the vehicle and forcing you to sign insane contracts. These guys were easy going and quick. I was in the van and on the road in about 5 minutes.

Would not recommend this car rental location. They gave us a car that had defaults and didn’t tell us about any of them. It was very unsafe to drive in. They also don’t let you cancel your reservation so beware if booking.

I had an excellent experience with Maxx Car Rental in Toronto (the one close to the Pearson Airport, at 135 Carlingview Dr) . Communication was never an issue, always prompt and curteous. Few weeks prior to renting I was even accommodated in terms of being allowed to visit the rental agency and physically compare the features of two vehicles I was interested in renting (Ford Transit vs Mercedes Sprinter). Ended up renting the Transit 12 passenger. One thing with renting those vehicles here is that you actually get the exact vehicle model you've asked for (not something similar").Due to a change in arrival time of my friends I had to pick up the vehicle couple of hours earlier than planned

Found them when I was trying to book a 9 seater for our trip. All other rental companies had sold out or were expensive. Maxx rental was priced moderately and was available at that time. They gave us a new car which was clean and neat and the car had all features of Apple play. Had no problems with pick up and return. They are located inside best western hotel. Sometimes it can be a problem to find their location. This is the airport one. They have another branch in markham as well. They upgraded our car for the same price as they were sold out with the one we booked. Highly recommended.

Worst customer handling: Very cheap and cheat their customers. They overcharge me for $11 at time of Vehicle drop off. $11 not a big amount but when i questioned the reason behind they said the fuel was not full. I showed the images attached which clearly shows the images before (at time of pick up) and after (at time of drop off). It clearly indicates the fuel was way more at time of vehicle drop off as compared to when i picked the vehicle from their location. Still they charged me $11. Instead of understanding the fact they kept arguing to me claiming that they are right. I WISH I COULD RATE THEM BELOW ONE STAR

Rented a van from them while in Toronto!! Had such great experience from there staff over the phone and in person!! They didn’t charge me extra or hidden fees! They were very honest and kind!!! Thank you so much for a great experience!

I recently rented 12 passenger ford transit (BZHE 018) from Maxx located near YYZ for a duration of 9 days, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The quality of the vehicle provided fell significantly short of our expectations. To begin with, the car's interior was okay, and the AC vents consistently came out from the roof, causing inconvenience throughout the trip. Moreover, despite the commitment of receiving a vehicle no older than 2 years, we were given a 2016 model, which was disappointing.Throughout our rental period, we encountered multiple false notifications on the odometer, such as the rear door open and inaccurate tire pressure readings. These misleading signs led to confusion and raised concerns about the overall reliability and safety of the car. Additionally, the engine quality was subpar, producing unpleasant noises just above 100kmph speed that detracted from the overall driving experience. Furthermore, the brakes exhibited significant performance issues, which was a safety concern. One has to push the paddle very hard to stop the car.Given these numerous drawbacks, I regret to say that I cannot recommend maxx based on my recent experience. I believe it is crucial for rental companies to uphold their commitments and provide customers with reliable, well-maintained vehicles to ensure a positive and safe rental experience.however, pickup and drop off of the vehicle was smoother.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! Worst customer service. What comes around go around- I rented a sprinter which wouldn’t start for a day and a half in the cold. They didn’t have a clue about anything when I called to see if the van had a heat box! It’s a joke of a business and a horrible way to treat customers. I had to get cables and a battery charger to get this thing going and there’s zero compensation. I was informed to call CAA and I did only to waste my time and be told from CAA they don’t cover sprinter vans. The people running this company have zero idea about their vehicles or how to help their customers. Put your money elsewhere! I’m not a happy customer! This family vacation with a 2 year old and 3 year old didn’t go exactly as planned. Also, it wasn’t in clean condition when I picked it up. The seats and floor were dirty.

Highly recommend Maxx Car Rental in Toronto Airport. No hidden charges.. easy to contact and helpful staff. Will use service again. Special thanks to Raman and Gary.
