CIBC Branch with ATM

Walked into the store and explained to the teller that i was currently a member of simplii financial. Before i could get another word out of my mouth she immediately started lecturing me on how they do not have any inflation with that company. I told her yes i understand that but i am now shopping around for a bank. She scoffed at me and said she may be able to set me up for an appointment in a few weeks to see if i would be suitable to be a customer at their branch. I was disappointed by this judgement and said i will be taking my business else were. She said fine with me". I left very disappointed. Unfortunately they just lost a very good customer."

Most unpleasant banking experience ever!After proving who I was with every piece of I.d I could provide, I was then questioned why I was using my account to accept an e-transfer … that’s irrelevant lady… wish I caught her name. Never doing business with this branch again. -15 star rating!

Always a long line up, with never enough tellers. I am disabled, so it is quite painful to have to wait so long. There are no chairs to sit on while waiting, so suffer every time I have to wait and wait and wait to be seen.

Terrible customer service 10 people in line and 4 tellers working only 1 open. I told the lady the service was extremely slow and she snapped back at me saying I guess its good you deal with Mainstreet then and not here; as I was switching my direct deposit info for my vehicle loan

This place has helped me so much! I am getting better support from them then my own government! Although kudos to both m.p.p. Offices I did reach locally..and actually spoke to one personally within under an hour.Not only did theyHelp me out financially they also made suggestions and provided me with all my support. I have accounts there that were moved from Richmond Street when it closed so don't know anybody in the branch. It's 9:30 in the morning and I need to open a different account. I had to listen to a lengthy message about how they are taking such good care of their customers. Was going to leave a message but had to listen to the exact same long message again. Just hung up not feeling very supported". Luckily I have other choices."

Imaging you are having a fever dream - and are living in end times. You wake up and realize you have banking to do. The lights are buzzing, the walls are smeared with unknown debris - and there are people sleeping- and the smell of warm urine - in the atm area. The display on the wall has the same Microsoft Windows error it had on it months ago, and that's when you realize - it's not a dream! It's just that... nobody cares.

One of the manager on the weekend was a rude person, we went to bank for operating our deposit locker, had to wait in line to meet the teller and was finally told we will have to book an appointment. She gave us an appointment at a later date, however we came to know later that no such appointment was recorded and we did not actually require to book an appointment to operate the locker!!!I do not want to comment on the exclusive behavior we were subjected to, but I am thoroughly disappointed in having moved our personal banking to CIBC from RBC ( who in my opinion are more open and inclusive in their customer interactions)..I think your frontline staff in these smaller communities will need to work on understanding more on the Canadian values and what Canada stands for ..to retain a loyal customer base.

Very poor service. very slow, never enough tellers on busy days (Friday). One teller made condescending remarks towards me while I waited in line. If there was another branch in the city I would go there but this is the only one left open.

I had a phone appointment scheduled for 3:00PM today. Still haven’t heard from anyone 50 minutes later. You can imagine I’m not impressed with this lack of professionalism and the disregard they have for their clients’ time. CIBC won’t be getting my business anymore.
