worst experience so far. I will not be there anymore and will not recommend any of my friends to be there. Basically I booked a coach for 1 on 1, I did not meet that coach before. And they assigned another coach without informing me in advance at all. Nobody explained to me. They took me as a fool. I sent email to them and called them to ask why this happened. They refused to response to me. Had never have such terrible experience in any other organizations.

3.5 stars for renting the rink for a party... probably follow up with their classes in a bit.GTA is probably filled with a tons of hockey schools to get you or anyone you know a bit of an edge in the beloved Canadian sports of hockey. There are many types of classes you can take that are focused on a smaller class size and a greater personalized training.The facility is in the middle of an industrial area on the west side of Oakville. There's a private parking lot but it doesnt have a lot of spots so expect to get creative when you have a lot of families here.It doesn't seem like a big place but it goes further back to allow a big rink and a ball hockey spot in addition to a few change rooms. It is 'well loved' if you want to think there's probably hundreds of kids running through here with sticks, blades on feet, and they're firing off hard rubber pucks around. It is clean which is good. Just ... well worn. There is a seating area that you can see into the ice rink and its a big area to allow for good viewing into the rink to see what's going on.The party room they give you is pretty big. Easily fits 25 kids at tables and space for parents to stand around while you serve up cake and whatever else you want. I would say the room looks quite worn out too and it's not the prettiest BUT throw a bunch of balloons on the backs of chairs and you're good. As mentioned, the place is clean so thats good.The price is fairly reasonable especially when you compare to other spots that are a bit flashier (Canlan). I would say if you're looking for a spot to host a party that is easy to book, private, and reasonable, this would be a solid option.

Would highly recommend Cutting Edge. Our son was cut from our home town rep team last year and his only option was to play house league. We were referred to Cutting Edge and he played this last season with the Oakville Oilers. The training and development was incredible, his skills have improved so much over the last year and he has now been selected to play AA for the upcoming season. Big thank you to Ron and the coaches.

Our 10-year-old has been going here for the Skate Like McDavid program along with private 1 on 1 lesson (30-minute sessions). Coaches are professional, and we have seen his game improve (speed, edge work, transitions, puck handling and shooting). Coaches do a good job breaking down the why and explaining the how. Any parent looking to get their kids more time on the ice for development should explore this place.

Good hockey training facility with a gym, goalie pad & small ice area. Perry is solid coach, my boys love his training sessions.

Poor quality program for kids to learn. The instructors just chat all class and do not help actually teach the kids. If your kid is new to skating, take them elsewhere

The facility is poorly managed, there is zero communication, and events are haphazardly organized. For a facility providing services to children and younger adults, these are recepie for a disaster.

We just had a party at the Cutting Edge Hockey Development centre and it was a great experience. The kids loved the ice rink. The party room is big and can be decorated the way you like. We brought a speaker to have some music which made the party to be even better. The price is pretty reasonable for the off-the-shelf package but you can also negotiate extensions for reasonable addition too. The staff is friendly and flexible. I can't talk about the quality of the ice rink since I don't skate. I would just recommend to better clean the floors in the dressing and the party room. Rather than that, I would definitely recommend Cutting Edge for an ice skating/Hockey party.
