Nicholas was an amazing tutor! Before my first tutoring session, I had some of the basics down but Nick really helped me hone and refine my skills as well as provide me with tools and strategies I didn’t know previously that really helped me when answering questions. Each session we had, he really took the time to go through questions I was having trouble with in-depth, making sure that I really understood it, and I saw major improvements when doing my practice tests (by more than 20 points). I highly highly recommend him as he is not only incredibly knowledgeable but he is very personable and tailors sessions specifically to your needs and strengths/weaknesses.

Nicholas is an excellent tutor, he is attentive and patient. He has the ability to explain concepts in many different ways which was very helpful for me. He worked with me throughout the entire period I was studying for the LSAT which gave me the chance to make effective study habits specific to the LSAT. His use of whiteboard made it easier to understand concepts because we were able to go over very complex concepts step by step and after each lesson we summarized important points. I was able to use them after each tutoring session to go back and review what we had gone over which solidified my understanding of the challenging topics. This aided me in my ability to apply those ideas to other questions. As our tutoring sessions progressed I was able to see the connections between the different sections and was able to apply the different processes he had taught me to all of the questions. By the end I was fully equipped with fool proof processes and tools to tackle any LSAT question. Any time I had questions he responded quickly with detailed explanations. Nick was a great help for improving my skills on the LSAT, most notably logic games and logical reasoning. His use of the online whiteboard really helped me visualize the problems and led to easier understanding of the different question types and structures. Moreover, he prioritized making sure that I understood a given question and its answer key fully before moving onto the next. Overall, I found that I was extremely prepared to take the LSAT with confidence thanks to Nick's help!

Before starting tutoring sessions, I had taken the LSAT once a few weeks after completing an online LSAT course. I found the course to be too fast paced for me and I really didn’t get a chance to become as comfortable as I wanted with the strategies I learned before taking the actual test. After that, I decided to self study using LSAT textbooks and resources but found that I was struggling to see why I kept getting certain questions wrong. So, I decided to try out tutoring and it was definitely a turning point in my LSAT studying! I liked that the tutoring sessions were a balance of learning strategies and taking up questions you got wrong during your practice that week. Nicholas was super patient and encouraging especially when I was feeling frustrated. He would ensure that you were actually understanding the LSAT materials/strategies and catered the tutoring sessions to suit your needs. I saw a huge increase in my overall confidence and accuracy because of the tutoring sessions!

Studying for the LSAT is a daunting task, but having Nicholas as atutor definitely took some of the pressure off of me. I was frequentlystuck on specific types of questions, and Nicholas was very perceptivein catching things in my reasoning process that were leading meastray. He is very knowledgeable about all types of LSAT techniques,and while he has his own method, he does not force it on you. Hewatches your own method and is able to adapt his tutoring to mostbenefit how you work through the answers. I would, and will, recommendhim to anyone who asks about writing the LSAT.
