Calling this a train station is a joke. I would give it five negative stars if I could. It is a rail track where some trains stop not necessarily on schedule next to a homeless encampment. The encampment looks better organized. If you think you will drive up leave your car and get on a train think again there is very limited amount of overpriced parking available. If you are dropping off or picking up a passenger take valium before arrival as the drop off area is designed by a sadist who has done everything possible to trigger someone's temper. All involved in this enterprise should be let GO.

1.5 hours to get to Toronto! We need to get people out of their cars and not commuting on the 401. Fast trains at a reasonable cost is the only way.

This Go train station is almost in downtown kitchener, so it’s easily accessible for those living in downtown waterloo and kitchener as there is also a local bus stop and go bus stop as well in front of the station. The trains are also departing/ arriving almost on time.. so, reach 2-3 mins ahead of departure time, so you won’t miss the train. Billets/ presto card loaders are working in good condition most of the time. There is some waiting room which would be closed after certain hours.Parking needs to be improved, especially in peak times it is very tough for those commuting everyday via train to park their cars due to insufficient parking space. Overall, it’s a better option to commute to toronto or other urban areas

If you are thinking of buying a Presto card ($6) at the train station, make sure you check far in advance before the train is due to arrive. The station building has no GO or Presto support but you can reach someone through the phone number relatively quickly.Things to note:1. There are two ticketing machines at the opposite end of the station near the platform.2. In this case, one buy a card" button was active but nothing happens; the other one (by Smile Tiger) didn't even have the buy card option despite the rep on the phone telling me to try that one next3. Second rep informed me that if all else fails

The only part that sucks is parking which would be hard to solve as there is not a lot of room. Also at peak times traffic can be heavy so be careful. Other than that it's good, always clean when I'm there!

Once we have more service to and from Toronto, I'll be happy to provide a higher rating. Until then it's not very convenient for travel to and from Toronto or Guelph or anywhere on the Lakeshore line.

The train schedule is great! Parking is terrible. Would love to take the later train to Union but due to limited parking even the 5:15am train is becoming tough. Milton is almost half the population of Kitchener/Waterloo and their GO station has great free parking and also collaborates with public transportation! I think ridership would increase if station was modernized with adequate parking and/or public transportation. If parking is almost non-existent then at least work with the city to have public transportation stops onsite! Kitchener has the worst urban planning.

Needs ALL DAY Go Train service to Union asap. I'd actually live DTK for this convenience. Also why is no one advocating for connecting the tech-hub to the financial hub. Missed opportunity for economic resilience. Build it and they will come.

The Kitchener GO" station (really more suited for low volume Viarail travel) is becoming an example of urban planning gone wrong... Despite the population growth in KW and increasing number of commuters travelling from Kitchener to Toronto

literally the worst train station. there is NO parking and unlike other go stations, if you do find a spot to park you have to pay for it. go to another station, this place is not worth the stress.
