Western Ball Hockey League

I had a great experience here in the month of May! They have a unique texting platform where you can sign up for games as an individual. I trialed the system for them and it was pretty flawless. It made it easy for me to sign up for multiple ball hockey sessions at different levels. Mark was super accommodative and helpful getting me comfortable with the facility and league. Would highly recommend this place.

This is place is great. The people are super nice and helpful. Mark and Robin have been super helpful to my son on so many levels. They know that we have been struggling with some personal matters and have been so kind and accommodating during our challenges. My son loves going to ball hockey even though he still has so much to learn he get so excited every week. This is a big success for us as he has never been enthusiastic about sports of any sort and doing well in them doesn’t come easy to him. Yet every week he gets his stuff together and is ready to go when asked with a smile on his face. He also gets excited about the camps they offer during school breaks.Definite thumbs up for me. - Sofia

I came to WBHL having no ball hockey experience and was welcomed warmly into the league! As a new female player, I definitely appreciated non-contact rules they have in place. I have made many friendships here that carry on outside of the league, and would strongly recommend this league to any skill level!

I've played ball hockey in the coed league, rec league, and drop-in.There are refs in the league's which keeps all games running smooth and within the rules.I haven't had any negative issue with any players on the other teams, everyone is respectful to each other.Originally I joined the league as a single, and now play with a set group of players.The drop-in is good hockey. I've played both Thursday(at noon) and Friday (evening).Good group of people.I'm glad I found the Western Ball Hockey.

My 9 yr old has enjoyed the spring session for 7-9. He participated in a practice, games and some skill sessions. Coach Jen has been terrific with the kids. Practices and skill sessions could use more stick on ball time as kids can be waiting around depending on activity. Management communication and scheduling was prompt and accommodating. Keep up the good work and great to see the community active.

I've been playing in the Co-ed and the Intermediate league's here at Wbhl for 5 plus years now. Made lots of great friends and always have tons of fun no matter what. It's a great place for beginners to learn and for those not new to the sport to keep their skills up to date. One bonus I like here is the Game Manager " text in feature. It allows you to text a server

Great kids leagues. Our son has been involved for a period of time now, and this league has helped him develop new social skills through interaction with team mates/coaches. Also, his hockey skills are always improving. Mark and the staff have always been kind and fair with the kids. I would recommend any of the adult or kids leagues if you are interested in playing.

If you like ball hockey this is the place to be. Loads of options for single games, leagues, skill level, ages, days of the week. Very good price and happy community of sportsmanship. Play area is small so be ready for fast pace action! The new texting option to pickup games is also very easy to use and helpful. I highly recommend.

My kids have played in u12 and u9 league and love the experience. They have learned new skills and the coaches are really encouraging their skills.Recently they participated in day camp for a week during spring break and they played hard. The staff is great, super friendly and enjoy sport.I myself do drop in ball hockey 2vs2 and coed league and really enjoy the team play.The atmosphere is fun and a person can get the exercise and play that they want or need.If you are looking for a great ball hockey experience indoors this is a great place to play!

This has been a great place to play for the last 3-4 years and it has continued to grow and expand its avenues related to ball hockey. There’s leagues and drop in times for all ages and skill levels, and programs for kids and those just starting out. Mark has done and continues to do a great job with the organization and making people feel welcome! Highly recommend!
