I can’t thank all the amazing staff at marigold enough!!! Seriously amazing shop with amazing people.I broke down just down the street and was able to limp my truck into their shop. Upon a quick check under the vehicle nothing seemed to look out of place or wrong, but I asked them if they could take a closer look. They were able to diagnose the problem and even track down some hard to find/discontinued parts for my Old Ford Ranger. If I lived closer I would definitely be bringing my truck back for them to work on again. I’m just very fortunate I happened to break down where I did.

I am always impressed with the service and friendliness ofMarigold Service. I needed a quick tire repair and they got me inimmediately. They checked the tire twice to find the puncture.Fixed and out of there within an hour. Great service.

This business in my humble opinion is gross. They have terrible service & to top that critique off they try to sell you things your car doesn't need. They kept my car for two entire weeks to change an ignition coil. They also left my engine skirt off and treated me like i was a massive hassle because i drove back and requested they put it back on.During the two weeks they had my car they called 3 times trying to tell me my car needed services I knew it didn't because I had just had those things done. I wish I had checked Google reviews first before coming here considering I have a good review walk score in Google and usually do follow reviews. I found something on reddit about them being good for Toyota they sure weren't for mine. BEWARE if you like not getting hassled for services your car does not need. I decided I better lost this review because they are now cold calling me attempting to get more money out of me!Update: Marigold Auto has now replied to my review & critique of there services. I would also like to add at this time that making excuses for poor services doesn't make there services good & also doesn't make them an honest mechanic shop. While they had my vehicle they called a week into having it telling me my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and they were brand new I kid you not. They also said my starter needed to be replaced if they knew anything about the year of my car they were working on they would know that lexus sc400 vehicles have a louder than normal starter and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I suggest if you are reading this review go dig deeper into there reviews this place is known for attempting to add more services then asked for or required in my opinion.

I thought this would be a safe place to send my daughter. She took my small SUV in for an oil change. The paperwork she recieved afterwards showed that everything on the vehicle was green" except for the air filter. They rate everything green

Just the best service from the first phone call through until i got my Delica back. I brought it in for a diagnostic. They were thorough and straight forward in communicating their analysis. And, Judith gave me a ride back to work when i dropped the van off, made my day!"

Brought my car in for the check engine light and engine was making a noise. Front desk person was fantastic and super flexible, helped me figure out dropping off my vehicle after hours and was super friendly. Mechanic provided detailed information to me over the phone and on the invoice and they solved the problem! Definitely will go back. Honest and reliable. Thanks.

I am someone who is very nervous going to get my car worked on - I don't understand and worry about being taken advantage of. That was not the case here. From the moment I spoke to Judith on the phone to book my appointment - I knew I would be treated right here. Jennifer at the front desk is very knowledgeable and great to chat with about all your options. Ray was friendly and even joked around with me - my rims were wrecked due to Ontario pot holes - and that made me feel more at ease.If you're looking for great work and a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go. I'm new to Victoria - and this spot is now my go to for all my vehicle needs.

I've been here a few times with two vehicles now, one JDM Toyota and one old Jag. The staff are always friendly, informative and communicative. They discuss and plan the maintenance/repair with me beforehand, and I have always been pleasantly surprised by the final price being a bit less than the estimate. They're fast, too!

This place looks like the classic neighbourhood mechanic shop, here is my mixed review.I asked them to replace a water pump on my Jeep. They worked with me to replace the pump, and provided good communication throughout, even helped me drop off the vehicle. They replaced the water pump for the price they quoted. So that was great.During the time that my Jeep was there the battery died, it hadn't died before that.They offered to put my Jeep on a charger for a fee of $25 bucks or so, that's quite a fee to roll out a charger and connect it to the battery terminals, I found it odd, especially after just paying a $500 bill. I said I wouldn't pay that due to the fact it hadn't happened before. They didn't charge me.They then did some testing and told me the battery would need to be replaced, at a cost of $380.I had a friend pick it up and bring it back to my place using some jumper cables. When I got home, I took the battery to a parts store to have it tested. The test came back battery - good.I did notice the battery terminal connectors were not in the best shape, and a bit beat up, so I cleaned them up with a file and haven't had a problem with the vehicle not starting.I'm assuming that the battery was disconnected for the repair of the water pump, then had a poor connection when re connected.So take my experience as you will. Cleaning battery terminals is a lot cheaper than replacing a battery and throwing money away.
