I have German and Romanian ancestry, and everything growing up involved amazing food that was fresh baked by my elders. Shopping here brings back so many memories and the baking is very on point. I haven't had anything I didn't like. The sweets aren't over sweet, are filled with flavor and are perfect to treat guests that come to visit. The ONLY disappointment was that the Pretzel Shack discontinued their cheese sauce, which was amazing. But they're right - the pretzels really are great without the sauce, too.So glad to have this gem nearby.

Good, fresh treats. A little disappointed there was no where to sit inside or out. It would have been nice to have the pretzels warmed. I actually enjoyed the deserts more than the pretzels.

We were driving by and saw this new, not only Pretzels, but German Bakery had to turn around to try it out.It did not disappoint, the 2 ladies were lovely engaging and kind. The pretzels, plain w/ beer cheese, ham & cheese, and a cheese one. Also had to get the plate of cookies ... the pretzels were perfect. Thin enough that they are not doughy, and had a slight crust, the flavor was spot on. Baking ... only down fall is there needed to be more haha.Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Finally! A place to get bread that can be readily digested for those of us with issues. The gentleman owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell they work very hard to make fresh goods. My son really loves the pretzels. I highly recommend stopping here!

Very nice clean store, friendly staff. I love pretzels and i will be go back for more and to try other stuff.We had a pizza, ham and cheese, original and they were amazing. The cheese they have for the pretzels is amazing, great flavor.

I didn’t realize they are who they are! Instead of driving to 82 Avenue and 99 Street in Edmonton for my German Bread fix, I’ll be going to The Pretzel Shack! Stopped in and bought 2 Pretzels and 2 loaves of bread. If you haven’t tried German Baking, do yourself a favour and go here! Extremely fresh and totally authentic! You really can’t compare what’s sold in stores to this bread - this IS bread! It has flavour, tastes like bread is supposed to taste and all around is fantastic! Dies ist der einzige Ort, an dem ich von nun an Brot kaufen werde! Vielen dank, dass Sie Ihre Geschäfte geöffnet haben!

Went to the pretzel shack for the first time and got a peacock cookie, apple strudel, and a jalapeño cheddar pretzel which was so soft and delicious!Highly recommend this place!
