Potential customers beware - this company's management team does not operate ethically and does not pay their trades for good work completed on time and to a high standard, which is a shame because they hire good people that want to do a good job.Trades please do your due diligence before taking on work from this business - they do not pay their bills. As a small business owner, we have done work for this company for the past six months and have not been paid for anything. We tried multiple ways to support payment plans and no communication provided. Please don't find yourself in the same boat as us.

My wife and I had a great experience with the team at Klondike. Their professionalism, service and results are all top notch. Perhaps even more importantly, we were extremely impressed with how Eric and his team handled a challenging situation. This spoke tremendously to Klondike’s ethics and core values. We hired Klondike to complete a renovation of our school back in 2021. We paid for an accurate estimate, too.However, Klondike subcontracted our entire project to Mercury Contracting without our awareness. They even gave Mercury's project manager a Klondike email address, which gave a false impression about who this person actually worked for.The work done by Mercury wasn't done to the agreed timeline or budget. They failed to order things in advance, and would then use supply-chain issues to justify purchasing much more expensive products, which we had no choice but to sign off on.As the project neared completion, I found out from Klondike that the company had been sold a few months previously - again, without our knowledge - and then found out about the subcontracting. Klondike's team agreed that Mercury's work was substandard and sent their team to fix the problems.Later, though, I discovered that I had overpaid Klondike by $31,000 because I had double paid for some of their invoices. No-one at Klondike said anything about this. Upon realising this, I asked for the money back. However, they then concocted costs that they say they incurred from Mercury that were entirely different to the Change of Orders that I had signed off on - in one case 3X more!I am now approaching a small court claim to get back our money, because Klondike's new owners are acting unethically.As you can imagine, I would never recommend this contractor to any business.

I have been in business for 20 years and have done business with klondike for almost 15 years. Clients come and go. Good ones stick around for many years and Klondike has been a good client. They have good projects with well designed scopes. They can problem solve well and have always been there threw the difficult parts of the build when things typically go wrong. Good at communication and problem solving.And a nice bottle of gin at Christmas time as appreciation is just the cherry on top.

When we decided to do a full home renovation we made sure that we selected a contractor that we were comfortable with. Our experience with Klondike has shown that our initial impressions were absolutely correct. Throughout the entire design and build process they were helpful and professional and we couldn't be happier with the final product.Undertaking a renovation of this size was no small decision and Jacqueline, our designer,and Garth, our project manager, worked to make sure the design met our requirements and our budget. When we had to put the project on hold for personal reasons they made every accommodation to ensure that we didn't feel pressured.Once construction started the job was done professionally with skilled trades people, all of whom were polite and very willing to spend time with us discussing the work. The scheduling was done such that I don't see how the project could have been completed more quickly. There were people on site every day for seven months, at times more than a dozen working at once.Overall this was a very positive experience that makes us feel that we got our money's worth from the re-design and from the assistance provided by Klondike.

Klondike did a major renovation of our house in West Vancouver 2 years ago. We were very pleased with the work. After we moved in, we found a few issues that were caused by oversights of the subtrades that did the work. When we reported the issues to Klondike, they were very responsive (even after 2 years) and they tracked down the subtrades and have them rectify the issues at no cost to us. We have been very pleased with their after sale service!

The problem with this company is, you go do the work. They refuse to pay. 4 Months later contractors are knocking on their door for their money, they refuse to pay or dont acknowledge the work that has go on. Potential buyers, BEWARE and steer clear of this company to avoid the distressing consequences

They have been excellent to work with and big credit to their people who have demonstrated that they care about their quality of work and the success of the company. Our house renovation was going sideways when our friends referred us to Klondike, who then took care of us from day one and delivered a beautiful house which we are still enjoying today.Last year Klondike also built our new commercial office, earning our clients’ and colleagues’ compliments.We highly recommend Klondike. In the dog eat dog world of construction and contracting, it’s nice to know that there is at least one ethical company out there.

Klondike did our store on East Broadway and we are very pleased. They did a great job with all the little changes we did as we went along. We finished on time and had great follow up service. Their price was good and Jag a pleasure to work with. If your doing a project always call them.
