Friday Harbour Resort

Friday Harbour is a nice marina resort/condo community opened to public. However, some facilities are only for members (FH residents) . Take note on Mon most restaurants on site are closed. Some restaurants are only opened to the public on Mon to Thur. It’s a nice place to take a stroll on a sunny summer afternoon or evening. It’s a long drive from Toronto though, it’s almost an hour and a half each way.

Nice place for a short getaway. Quiet and peaceful during the week. Lots of restaurants on site but there is also a grocery store where you can get some fruits, salad and quick food items if you feel like staying in. Things are a bit expensive here if you are renting an Airbnb. Home owners get some sort of discount apparently. Overall a very good experience. We may visit again.

Great spot for a pitstop, Been out all day on the boat. Most of the businesses close at 6 p.m. on weekdays. That is a little too early because we are in the middle of July. Summer is only seventy-five days they should extend your hours every day. The sushi was very good definitely will be back.

A gorgeous place to spend a nice ☀️ summer day. It was worth the drive, however, as a vegetarian, I didn't find many options to eat. At one place, there was a cheese pizza, nachos and a bakery. But since everything was pricy, we ate a bit and left early to eat at Barrie.

Canada Day Post only. I have to say having been there many times and noting it's lack of options.The Canada Day Foreworks was probably one of the best I have seen at a park, event locale other than theme park etc.Kudos to all involved.Parking was a nightmare unless you get lucky. We did so it was super enjoyable.

Wow this place was a beauty. Had a great vibe and lotsa places to eat. Just an hour away driving on scenic roads. I'm definitely coming back. Even day trips are worth it.

Perfect for a day trip! The boardwalk, trail, and marina are perfect for a nice summer day outing. For those who have investment/vacation homes, it's a nice weekend getaway from the bustling of the city. We visit Friday Harbour at least once every summer. If you are lucky, you will catch some flea markets and live bands performing.

It's a good place to stroll around, although they could make this place better. Before coming here, I have a better vision of what the place looks like: settings, neighborhood, and overall the amenities.I drove around the village before getting off my car, then took the time to walk around, mapping out the area. It is not a large place to stroll during the day. Besides dining (which, by the way, aside from tax charges, you will also be charged with resort fees on your final bill). There are not many things to do at the village.I invasion, this place was situated and overlooking Lake Simcoe, That the main amenities will be the view of the lake and such. I am a little disappointed!With the price of the properties, I can not convince myself to spend that much and eventually regret it. Once all buildings are done, this place will be overcrowded! A few hours spent is more than enough.

Cool place with board walk, marina, cafes, restaurants and patios. Free parking. We saw a lot of families with their pets and few restaurants left a bowl filled with water outside for these furry friends. Few amenities are members only - splash pad, outdoor pool and access to beach. Condos are privately owned.
