Stay away from this company. They are horrendous to deal with. The first visit is great but goes downhill real quick. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

While doing work next door, they decided to run the water line through my property without asking for permission. Such an unprofessional entitlement attitude.

I got four quotes to install sprinklers on my lawn. Alan was both professional and thoughtful. They were the only company who thoughtfully solved some logistical concerns and were willing to go under walkways versus removing and replacing them. Picking them was an easy decision.When they arrived, it was a full team of 6-7 people, including two supervisors and all were keen to do a good job.I had a full Hunter system installed including the Hunter Pro HC wifi app based controller. They weren't too familiar with the controller, they typically install a Rainbird version, but were very helpful making it work. I'm very happy with the controller.It's day two. So far I'm happy and time will tell. I can control the entire system with my phone/computer and internet access.Advice:Tell Alan what you want. Don't be shy... he genuinely want to deliver a good experience and product/install.Do some research on controllers. Decide what's right for your level of technological proficiency.Be on site for install day. You need to be there to answer questions and ensure you get what you want.Update: Several weeks later I got a call from AA Waters & Brookes. We're sending a technician to your house to inspect your system. We have a report that it's not giving your lawn proper coverage."They had noticed while driving through the neighbourhood a long dead patch of grass. I killed that patch (all weeds) and was growing new grass. I explained that to the technician

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had a service call that we waited three weeks for and when the technician arrived he was unprepared and incompetent. He came without the appropriate tools to service the job and I had to guide him in how find the sprinkler box (simply follow the wires!!!) even though they’ve been servicing our sprinkler system for years. When I called again to ask when they were coming to finish the job they told me the next appointment was in 6-7 weeks!!! Awful service! I had to call several times to get a response and they offer no solution or concern. We WILL NOT be using them again and will be finding a new company that can provide some basic level of customer service.

Very professional company. Dealing with them 15 years. Always satisfied.

Find another company that’s honest. We bought a house with an irrigation system managed by AA. The tech showed up to set things up for the season and discovered a broken head. “$75 to fix,” he told me. Well, he failed to mention it was $75 + $180 in labour. Looked up the part afterward: $15. I asked about adding the wifi controlled and was told $350 and that it was quite complicated to install. Found it after for $150 on Amazon and it was set up in minutes myself. When I called the company to ask about the crazy inflated invoice, the woman who answers the phone told me I surely didn’t ask the tech the question the right way and then hung up. Found another amazing company who does the same service for half the price and AMAZING customer support. Don’t bother stepping back in time to deal with the used-car-dealer-mentality at AA.

My technician Joe did a fantastic job for us. He was accommodating and even taught me how to program my control panel. Joe is very knowledgeable and provides sound advice without just throwing money at a job.Thank you, AA and thank you, Joe.Dave King
