My wife of 54 years brought her 85 year old father who originally came from the old country (Italy) here. After we left the store he said it was the closest thing that reminded him of back home. I think that says all you need to hear. The hot table was great for him, but for me I really enjoyed the exotic pantry staples.

This is my new favorite grocery store! Fantastic customer service and product knowledge.. Staff made amazing suggestions. Lots of free parking. Above average deli counters with meats and cheese's. On site bakery with luscious luscious treats!

Absolutely delightful. Prices are reasonable, unique products, meats and cheeses are out of this world delicious and the staff.The staff at the deli counter truly make this worth going to. Happy staff who are confident in their work. We went last on a Friday and there was a wonderful staff of young adults who were so helpful. (For the managers, buzz cut and light brunette are the best!! I’ll find their names and include them next time!)Just past the deli counter though, there is a cooler with subs and croissant sandwiches, don’t sleep on those either.It’s busy and worth it. Haven’t hit up the cafe but I think after reading the rest of these reviews I sure will!

Been visiting this store for a few years now.. Love the cafe and their ham and cheese croissants with their coffee..delish! Sampled their bakery desserts including lemon tarts. Still have to try their pizza..looking forward to my next visit.

My favorite place in all of Calgary. From the time you walk in and get the aroma of all the fantastic foods. Instantly hungry. Great staff. Fantastic selection at good prices. Better than any big box grocer hands down.

I love this place. Particularly the cafe and all the wonderful staff that work there. They work together like family and treat everyone with utmost kindness and care. Including each other, which is always so good to see. If this were my business. I would be very proud of it.

At the Italian Centre Shop Ltd, there are plenty of culinary options, ranging from bread to coffee to a variety of cheese. Upon stepping into the Shop, visitors may be metaphorically transported to Italy, or at least the version of Italy they have envisioned.According to Global Affairs Canada (2022), Canada and Italy share a strong business relationship. Perhaps world leaders could strengthen global peace & prosperity in a more sustainable way beginning by breaking bread together!The Shop has the potential to become a hub for fostering global relationships gradually building associations between states & individuals, as well as between people in different states, one meal at a time!

Abundant selection of unique grocery items. Local choices. Fresh produce. Extensive deli options. A giant wall of massive cheese rounds. On one of my visits, a fellow came out and explained all about the cheese giving a complete history - incredible knowledge and personalized service. Cute cafe that serves the best coffee. You must have a cream puff from the bakery. They are massive and filled with cream.
