Pick your own ingredients choose spice level you want choose your meat what can go wrong it was a amazing experience. I just hope they could label the other ingredients next time some of them I'm not familiar with, but other than that definitely a go to place for malatang.

Pick and choose what you want the kitchen to cook up for you. Nice selection of vegetables and good choices of meat additions. Broth has always been flavourful to me. Service fast enough for lunch hour.

I love this place. A must to visit if you are in the area and need to fill your bellies with a hot and spicy noodle. Did I mention you pay what you eat? Yeah you pay for the weight of your food and extra ingredients.

My go-to mala tang or bang place. Relatively cleaner than other chinese places. Friendly staff.The presentation is much better when you eat at the restaurant. You can ask for extra spice sauce if you aren’t satisfied. Love this place.

Great place for hotpot! Happy to be able to choose exactly what I want and how much I want. Very reasonably priced too. Service also very good.Only critique is that they don't have many sauces like other places.

This is 100% Hands-Down my most visited restaurant in Toronto; actually ever right now. The quality of food is always amazing, it's always the perfect meal and the price is always good.For everyone who hasn't tried this place yet, you choose what you want for the bowl that day, they weigh it and charge you accordingly. So if you're not hungry that day, your bowl could cost you 5$. If you're hungry or splitting a huge bowl, it could cost you 13$ and feed 2 people. *I always recommend getting your own bowl, it's just that good*If you want to try something new, do yourself a favour and come here. You will not regret it.

Very impressed! The food is very spicy, the service is quick, and the staff is very friendly. I was asked if this was my first time visiting and was given an introduction to malatang and instructions on choosing my ingredients. I'll definitely be returning.

MALATANG - Spice and Aroma
The taste is the best, I recommend the lunch meat, lamb, beef, and the meatballs, with light spicy, the reason that why I gave this place a 4 stars is because that you can see the ingredients are not really fresh, some of them are seems like sit there for few days, but the price is very reasonable and good service.
