Costco Pharmacy

Slow and unorganized. In their defense on the day we went it was extremely busy with customers screaming at staff over the long wait times and items that were missing from their prescriptions. That said, it's kinda difficult for anyone to preform at their best under such conditions.

So bad nobody there takes time to read prescription. And u call they tell u they fixed the problem and u gk for prescription and nothing is fixed. Spent 3 ours to call my doctor and costco pharmacy .go there and go to square 1.damd .no more wasting my time. Maybe thay should invest in some train pharmacist. A can't spend all day cleaning doctors because they can read prescription. So so p off

I should put zero star . I went here because it’s easy access for me especially for a mom of two and has a FT hob is hard to manage my time to go to any pharmacy far away from my home . Went i got here u wait for 1hr to get my prescription. Rude and useless staff .

My wife and I went to pick-up the government-provided COVID-19 Rapid Test kit, as it became available. We were told at this pharmacy, “One kit per family?” Where in the government’s program does that exists?This pharmacy is making up their own rule resulting in inconsistent application of the government program’s eligibility rules and intention.Below is the eligibility rule from AB Government website:EligibilityTo ensure as many people have access as possible, there is a limit of one kit per person/health care number within a 14-day period. If you are picking up a kit for another person(s), have their name, date of birth, and health care card with you.

Absolutely awful, I went to pickup my prescription and they gave me a slip of paper with an approximate time of when it would be ready. The wait time was around 20-25 minutes, but I decided to shop around.I had asked my partner to go pickup my prescription for me. By the time he went to pick up my prescription, almost 2 hours had passed and it still wasn't ready. Clearly, no one did their job. And instead of letting him know right away that he wasn't allowed to pickup my prescription, they made him wait another 15 minutes just to deny him.I hate this pharmacy, the staff are incredibly rude and miserable. They have zero customer service and are incompetent, another customer told my partner that she had waited 40 minutes and still hadn't received her prescription. I'll be switching to another pharmacy.

Hours for vaccine injection sucks so much. Only on business days and closes 4pm. As a full time worker, it is so hard to accommodate hours like this. One day I finally had time to visit during morning hours at 11:20AM, the guy said, they are full, only able to accommodate at 12:30PM. I was like NOPE! I got a job to do and I cannot wait there for an hour for nothing. Been there multiple times to just get a vaccine, but now I give up. Will never use Costco pharmacy again.

If you value your time and sanity, do not come here. You can wait 1.5 hours for a prescription to be filled, so save yourself and go to any other pharmacy.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Went to fill a prescription for Hgh (growth hormone). Just a 10 day prescription very low dose for an injury. The Pharmacist Manager just refused to fill it because we don't fill that from that Doctor". I told him i called Costco earlier that day to confirm before I went out there and was told just bring in your paper prescription. Low and behold I was given attitude and left with no prescription. This guy should not be the face of that phamarcy. Overall bad experience and terrible customer service."

I have had so many bad experiences with this pharmacy I am literally astounded at their ability to screw up. For brevity I will only share the latest. I have told the chronic pain center of the hassles I receive from them so when they changed my last prescription they gave them a call to smooth things over. When I got there I was told that dose of medication did not exist but after a long discussion with another pharmacist I was told there was a generic version. When told about the wait I told them I would come back another day. A few days later after they had sent me a text saying that my prescription was ready I returned to find they had filled the wrong medication and that they didn't have any of the medication that I wanted and basically a long repeat of the original conversation I had. They ASSUMED my doctor had made a mistake and hence the guess at a different medication. I would have to come back the next day for the new medication. (The one I had originally agreed to.) The ONLY reason I go there at all is because they are significantly cheaper than anywhere else. My medications are extremely expensive so it can add up to hundreds of dollars.

The pharmacist technician Gerrardo is an absolute headache to deal with. Dropped off two prescriptions. Called me a bit later to say they didn't have one of them (should have called my doctor for an alternative, but he failed to do so). When I went in to pick up the other one he told me that I couldn't pick it up for another 8 days. Annoyed that he couldn't tell me that when he called me about the other prescription. Told me to just come back 8 days later and it would be ready. I came back 10 days later and he was the technician I had to deal with again. He told me there was no prescription refill placed and that it would take an hour to fill. He also told me I couldn't ring in the 1 item I had. I've done that multiple other times with different technicians. I understand how it would be an unreasonable request if i had many items, but 1 item should be fine. All other technicians have been great to deal with. He is very bad at his job. I'll wait for a different technician before being served by him again. Not impressed.
