We found this place on google while searching for a place to celebrate a 90th birthday. Aaron was absolutely the best host! We have been back a couple of times because of Aaron’s hospitality! The food is great, the beer is cold and we could not ask for a better host!We travel from east of Toronto to visit and will definitely return.Thank you Aaron, cheers!

Had a wonderful time at the crown and lion, wonderful and friendly staff. The food came out quick for it being a busy lunch. Beef dip was awesome, fresh hot fries were great. The burger was great too. Really can’t go wrong there. Great atmosphere, nice staff and Quality food. 6/5 stars!

Visited several weeks ago and never got around to writing a review until now. The service in the establishment was good, not too slow, but not too quick either, I didn’t feel rushed or displeased. The individuals working within the establishment were of a kind and friendly nature. The food came faster than I expected. My compliments and appreciation to the kitchen staff who were responsible for preparing and cooking it. The food was delicious. For those wondering, I ordered fish and chips. The fish was seasoned beautifully and the fries that came with it were delicious as well, it wasn’t too greasy or too salty it was perfect. The establishment was fairly empty which I consider to be a bonus, the music wasn’t too loud. It was a bit cold temperature wise but that’s a small price to pay. Would recommend

The staff is excellent. Service is fantastic.The food was also very good. Only issue was the fries and fish were too oily. There was a puddle of oil at the bottom of my plate and the crust on the rush wasn't very crunchy, was a bit soggy due to the oil. But the fish inside was cooked perfectly. The soup of the day was good too. Tasted fresh. Just lacked a bit of seasoning

We had our rehearsal dinner here last night and it was such an amazing time!The staff were so responsive, accommodating & patient with all our inquiries and requests. They worked with our budget and customized their menu just for our rehearsal dinner. They even personalized the menu for our party.The food was a big hit with our guests! They were pleasantly surprised with the delicious & generous portions.Even my year old niece said she would rate the place “10 out of 11 stars” but what she really meant was 11 out of 10 stars lolI also let them know our rehearsal was running late and they said it wasn’t a problem and still accommodated our family & friends even beyond their closing time.They truly went above and beyond for us and we are so incredibly grateful for such amazing service!Thank you to Kimberley and the rest of the staff at Crown and Lion. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!

Interior was warm and cozy. We're lucky it wasn't too busy when we came in so we were served quickly. The wings are great. Would love to have more. We had fish and chips which was also good and the liber and onion. It was a great experience. If we were in the area, we'd definitely come back and try other things. Plus more wings.

The place is nice, include g the service, food, and drinks, but they have quiz games that seniors people play and it seems like a bingo where someone is talking on the microphone and reading the questions.

The pictures and reviews look so good, not my experience. I had one Great order called to Complement them & was told that the cook made it wrong lol. Ordered that item again, not great. Spinach artichoke.dip just a Lump cream cheese with burnt pita. Cheesecake topping is like McDonald’s sauce.The restaurant does charity work and kind to community. Keep supporting them.

Popped in last week on Trivia Night without a rez. Not realizing how packed it is on Wednesdays. The Staff were terrific, managed to accommodate our 4 with a little shuffling. Food was great! Home style Steak & Guinness pie, one of us had Liver & Onions ✅✅ felt like Nan’s house. Simply great with wonderful service from all. Thank you! See you soon. Cheers!
