I have been working with Sunny at Elite Accounting for approx. 1 year now. I have recently incorporated my business and Sunny has been beyond helpful, informative and supportive throughout this process. She helped me navigate the incorporation and setting up an efficient book keeping system that works. She is knowledgeable, kind, consistent and checks-in regularly, which I appreciate. Horrible experience with TAAG Accounting (Previously known as Elite Accounting). I was looking for an accountant to do my bookkeeping and annual return for my corporation. I read their good ratings so I gave them a call. Rania answered and I asked her if they had an accountant that did e-commerce accounting and she said that the accountants have experience with bookkeeping and annual returns for Online Seller businesses. Later I got in touch with their accountant Hamza. First impression of the guy wasn't good, he always cuts you off and barely let me speak. He seemed clueless about e-commerce accounting knowledge, however I still gave him a chance. 3 Months passed I don't hear from him, only until close to year-end he starts working on my books. To my surprise he did a lot of things wrong . He then brought in his assistant Sunny and then she came in and made more mistakes. Basic questions for an accountant he would always answer wrong. I spent days fixing and learning how to do my accounting while still paying them monthly. Hamza and Sunny combined would have made me lose thousands of dollars because of their mistakes and lack of accounting knowledge and potentially cause me an audit. I was fed up and told them they will not file my return and that I wanted my money back. I wrote a full detailed complaint to their firm and they ignored all issues I mentioned and refused to refund me. Be aware from this firm, they treated me nicely in the beginning to gain my business and told me everything regarding my accounting is easy for them until I signed the contract and found out otherwise. I had another accountant take a look at my books and almost everything was incorrect; from categorizing my income/expenses, the sales tax collected and owed and bank statements reconciliation etc.… I ended up hiring another accountant to fix my books and file my taxes.

I wanted to give a big shout out to Simon and the Elite Accounting team. This was my first time being considered an independent contractor this past tax season and I was worried about how I was going to successfully file my taxes. I came to Simon frustrated after having had come across an abundance of contradictory information about filing these sorts of taxes and he was courteous, extremely knowledgeable and patient whilst I bombarded him with questions. He helped me tremendously and I felt confident filing my taxes this year. I won't hesitate to reach out to him and the Elite Accounting team again.

Andrew & his team at TAAG have been amazing to work with over the last 2 years. I've worked with Gurek & Sunny and they are always on top of everything for my corporate taxes and monthly book keeping. Sunny is always following up to ensure she is on top of my quarterly filing even if she doesn't require anything from me and it always adds peace of mind knowing they are working behind the scenes non stop. Working with Elite Accounting (Simon in particular) has been an incredible experience.
