Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
It's a beautiful park with good amenities; bathrooms and water situated close to most sites and a few areas with hot showers available. Really nice beach! Try to go during the week though when it's not as busy to avoid too much crowding at the lake.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Beautiful area, right on the lake - with nature trails branching off everywhere. Camping & tons of day-use parking available, along with boating & kids' playgrounds.. Like most BC parks during summer months, it's extremely popular with families - which also means abundant clean washroom facilities..

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Last year the mosquitos were scary, this year absolutely fine and haven't had one bite yet , an amazing campground with good showers and a stunning beach for great swimming too.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
This is our favourite place to go camping. Each campsite is nicely treed, and very clean. Staff are on the sites cleaning them after each person leaves. Lots to do with your kids two great parks and a bike track. Walking distance to everything. Beach is a little rocky but the water is so nice. There are a few sites with power but rest of nothing. Great place to come to

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
This provincial park is fantastic. Book early though because it's usually full to capacity during the summer months. Shuswap Lake is huge. It's very popular with campers and boating enthusiasts alike. The locals get a bit swarmed by tourists from May long through to Labor Day so it's good to be respectful of that while you are out and about in the area. The campground is well maintained and great for biking, hiking, swimming and picnic lunches by the beach. The park entrance beach is usually quite packed on hot days so I find it quieter down from there if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Dogs must be on lead at all times.

We love Scotch Creek campground. We plan a trip here every year. Some years the mosquitoes are terrible, but when they're manageable, this is a great place for a family camping trip on the Shuswap. There are cool hikes nearby and always lots of young families for the kids to make friends with.Showers are great. Kids playground is great. Bike park is small but fun. Everything is great.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Some of my best memories growing up were spent in Scotch Creek and the provincial park is a huge part of the whole experience. I should mention it's like most Canadian camping, best suited for the summertime. I believe this park is only open in the summer months and often requires advanced booking as it's a popular spot.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Great provincial camping. Large campsites 300 meters from the lake. Clean bathrooms but a little older. The beach is very large so there is a lot of room to spread out.

Shuswap Lake Provincial Park
Magical campground. Lots of well established trees for shade and natural ambience. Sites are spaced far apart. Lots of bathrooms and other amenities well placed. Great open field park and playground. Beautiful long beach with lots of little pockets with benches and picnic tables.
