Painting the Town

Steve painted our house from top to bottom (walls, trim, ceilings, wainscoting, etc.) and did a SUPERB job! He was a perfectionist and super professional. We had a large wall unit too in the family room and Steve painted it white and it turned out stunning! A few years after that, Steve came back to stain and paint our outdoor wood fence and jungle gym. He’s very meticulous and I have recommended him with no hesitation to friends and family, who have been equally happy.

Excellent quality! Painted (sprayed) our laundry room cabinets (80's vintage) to look like new. Also painted our wooden casement windows, which included a lot of repair work to smooth them out... it absolutely transformed our home. Our front and side doors were sprayed to also look brand new. We are very happy with the results, as are all of our neighbours!

We cannot express how immensely pleased we are with the house painting job done by Painting The Town. The previous colour of our stucco home has been described by our neighbours as “bandage pink” and stood out on the street – for the wrong reasons. With Steve’s excellent input, the colour is now a light green/grey colour and with the black accents of the front porch pillar, lighting, eavestroughs and front door, our house now stands out for all of the right reasons.Steve and his assistant, Dawson, are two of the most pleasant people we have ever dealt with. (Dawson is such a respectful and conscientious young man. Steve is lucky to have him as an employee.) They are both expert painters who take great pride in their work. And they are both super nice people who are so interesting to talk with. They individually have admirable and compelling personal histories to tell!Our paint job was finished quickly, professionally, neatly and at a very competitive price. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Painting The Town for any house related interior and exterior work (check out their website – it’s impressive!).And a last comment, which is the icing on the cake – we have a bird nest in an area very close to what needed to be painted. I expressed my concern (a number of times – sorry, Steve!) about moving and disturbing the nest. There were two eggs in it! While we were away from home, Steve moved the nest to an area he had set up and texted us a picture of the moved nest to let me know that my doves were okay. How can you not employ someone as professionally skilled and personally considerate as Steve!!Thanks to both of you, Steve and Dawson, for a job well done and a personally enjoyable four days.

Just wanted to take a quick moment and tell you how awesome Painting the Town team is and in particular the owner Steve!!My wife and I just moved into an older home on Old Town NOTL and while it was empty we decide we should have it painted to give it a fresh look. Our search started with Painting the Town and ended when we met Steve. The transformation of the interior of our house is hard to describe, it's like a brand new house! His team went above and beyond fixing the imperfections, smoothing out some oddities that come with an old house, and overall handed us back a brand new , beautifully refreshed interior! Steve at Painting the Town is awesome and I would recommend anyone in the Niagara Region to utilize his services if they need any interior or exterior painting done. Steve was easy to work with, knows how to recommend colors and different paint brands, in addition to being very knowledgeable about spraying. My house is very old with a lot of very intricate moulding that required spraying and Steve was the only painter for the job. The colors came out great, the finish looks extremely pristine, and I was happy with how quickly the job was done. I literally had the entire interior painted and everything including the historic pieces of the house look brand new.

We were impressed with Steve’s professionalism and attention to detail. He listened to our ideas and provided valuable input into the colour selection process based on his experience.Steve and and his assistant Dawson did an excellent job, finishing on time and budget. Because he was spray painting our window frames, shutters and doors, the prep work was extensive.The exterior of our home has never looked better. We have a lovely home in Niagara-on-the-Lake, but it had fallen into a state of serious disrepair because of Covid travel restrictions. When our daughter asked to use the home for her bachelorette party we decided to undertake a complete renovation over a period of about ten weeks. Steve and his Painting the Town team scraped, caulked, primed and painted the entire exterior and it turned out beautifully. We cannot say enough about their professionalism, commitment, and work ethic. They worked overtime and weekends to meet the deadline, and put their heart into the project. We would recommend Painting the Town every time.

Steve and the team at Painting the Town did an amazing job at restoring our exterior of our home in Niagara on the Lake. The team is professional, easy to work with, and came in on time and on budget. Quality of work is first class and the transformation of our home was beyond our expectations.

We first used Painting the Town for painting our great room/kitchen after we moved into our new house. Steve & Dawson were amazing! When other painters were saying 4-6 days, Steve and Dawson had it done in 2 days and the quality of their work was top notch! We then got lucky and were able to get squeezed in to have our cabinets sprayed/painted in our kitchen and two of our bathrooms. Their prep work was very thorough. The reveal of the kitchen had me choking up - it looked so perfect! They did the cabinets so beautifully and the backsplash that I was sure we'd have to replace is now one of our favorite features. Steve was very helpful with colour/décor suggestions, and very responsive to my questions and messages. Both Steve and Dawson were super friendly and professional. At the end of the jobs everything was left perfectly clean and finished so precisely. They go above and beyond expectations, and we recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Steve and his crew painted the entire interior of our new home between the time we took possession of the new home and when we moved in. It was an incredibly tight timeline and would have been a challenge for even the best painting contractor. But Steve and his team completed the job on time, with superb quality in a extremely professional fashion. It was a pleasure to deal with Steve and all of his team.
