My experience has always been good at Toyota Whitby. Easy to obtain an appointment and staff is friendly . Some times there is a lengthy wait but that’s typical . Just missing the shuttle service since has not been operational since COVID hit. But overall great!

My wife and I bought a brand new 2023 RAV4 that we waited 5 months for. We finally received a call that it was ready yesterday.When we got there, we asked to see the car before making any payment. To our dismay, we noticed very visible scratches on our new car. The black paint makes it hard to miss.Upon showing the the sales rep, he called someone to have a look and they did take it in to be retouched. However, it was extremely disheartening when you are picking up your brand new vehicle and have to discover the scratches yourself. We have a level of trust that our dealership will provide a quality product- especially when we paid so much for it.While I commend our sales associate for getting it fixed the same day, you can imagine the disappointment we felt in knowing that the ‘new’ car is already damaged. This in combination with the amount of time we had to wait for an appointment when we went to sign with papers initially goes to show there is a decline in the level for service once they’ve made the deal.

I was very happy with my visit. I had my AC compressor and clutch replaced which is not a fast process. I was kept informed about how long it would take and everything was very organized. One of the men that worked there came out into the waiting room all cheery and did a little contest and I won! Amazing customer service!

I normally go to another Toyota dealership where a bought the truck from but decided to try closer to home. The team at Whitby Toyota were great! I would have given a five star. Rated a 4 as I head asked do have the vehicle back for 3 bringing it there for early morning to give enough time. I didn’t get it back until 5. In this case it was ok as my 4 pm meeting cancelled.

Where to begin. First off, I was a customer for 10 years, had winter tires installed on a brand new Highlander, the install was not correct because the wrong nuts (correct Toyota part but on aftermarket steel rims and they didn't work) were used, another place made me aware it was absolutely unsafe to drive. I brought this to the attention of management, they agreed the car was unsafe to drive but were confused as to why it didn't work. The only solution suggested was to change the tires over to summers but at my expense. I took the car elsewhere and the correct wheel nuts were put on. I talked to the owner Ian, not to ask for money, I wanted nothing. All this was done at my expense and I wanted no refund. I wanted to make him aware of the safety issues and did want him to know that if a person installing tires (or anything else)sees something isn't right, don't let the car leave the shop. Don't just send the car out. The owner claims it's simply not possible that could have happened. In essence, I give him feedback about safety issues and he doubts it was true and at one point suggests maybe I just didn't like the manager (whom I never met). He was angry on the phone, more with having to deal with a customer in my opinion. A place that won't accept serious feedback on a safety issue, don't bother with the place is my advice. Photo of the tire attached. What Toyota put on vs. What was required and their shop couldn't figure out (got fixed elsewhere). Update: corporate Toyota office was understanding and good about all this.

I had a good experience at Whitby Toyota. I bought a new Toyota Corolla Hatchback from them and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The salesperson was very professional and friendly. He gave me a fair price. He also showed me how to use all the features and functions of the Corolla and answered all my questions. The delivery process was quick and easy. I love my new car and I’m very happy with Whitby Toyota. They are the good dealership in the area. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality car. Thank you Whitby Toyota!
