Mitzi's Chicken Finger Restaurant
The restaurant has unusual hours. (11am-2:30pm) (4:30-8pm) I only found out this when I called to find out their closing time. I was not informed the later time is for pickup food orders without salad and can only pay by debit or credit card.

Wow.I'm am so excited to finally have tried this place.We ordered chicken fingers, of course... this is what they are most known for. For sure THE JUCIEST chicken fingers I've ever eaten. The breading is very light. It's not greasy. The honeydill is as sweet as normal which compliments their chicken so well. I am in awe. I know it's just chicken fingers... but damn was it delicious.We also ordered Wonton soup, beef teriyaki, sweet&sour chicken with fried rice and they were all made well. I wish I could describe them beyond that but you just have to try it and see for yourself---you'll be just as speechless.Then... we got their deep fried banana with ice cream for dessert. And wow. Much better than the one I had at Ichiban. It's so simple: three deep fried bananas, ice cream & banana syrup on the side. They do only serve it with one scoop of ice cream which for the three fried bananas it comes with isn't enough... but easily fixed by ordering an extra scoop.Such a cozy place. I love it.

16/01/2023. Last time I went to Mitzi’s was 2009. OMG it is still as awesome as it was back then. They are only doing take out right now. Same people own the place and it was nice to see they survived COVID. Very clean and as always friendly. We had chicken fingers, shrimp, rice and mixed veggies. Extremely good and was still warm when we got home. Don’t forget the Dill dip for the chicken finger!!

I've gone here a handful of times. The chicken fingers are always delicious. Probably some of the better chicken fingers in the city. No complaints with fries.Unfortunately when we went we were not able to dine in for lunch on a weekday. That's my only complaint.

This is one of those places you shouldn't judge from the outside or you miss out on a great dining experience. This is truly a Winnipeg gem! They have the most delicious hand made chicken fingers you will ever have ; so juicy they melt in your mouth. Really relaxed setting and very friendly staff that makes you actually feel like family. Not to mention it's very fairly priced .May they never go out of business

Definition of mid.. support pricey and decent chicken fingers. Maybe the hype got to me, but with the price of 20$ chicken fingers and fries my expectations were what I had heard best chicken fingers in the city". Is Johnny G's chicken fingers are a 10

Great staff great food, same as it was 20 years ago!! Nice to see some things never change. I highly recommend the chicken fingers and honey dill sauce are out of this world!!
