Jess is a very talented stylist for curly hair, and straight hair! On my first visit she took the time to really understand my needs.I entered with a bunch of frizz and lack of shape. I left with shiny curls with a great overall shape that's easy to maintain on my own in the mornings. She clearly has a lot of experience with curly hair.She also had a lot of great tips to share. I'm super happy to have found such a great stylist, and salon, in Kanata North!Update: she also did my colour correction (box dye used during lockdown) and it came out amazing! Her recommendations were spot on, and she was fantastic about explaining the process and what to expect. She's always on time, and a great communicator! I'm a regular now.

I love seeing Megan at the Hair Bar! I leave feeling fresh and light. I always used to think I had a problem with split ends but truly I just needed to find someone who could cut my hair the right way. Megan is awesome and super quick!

I have never left a negative review but I was so disappointed today. I have a newborn so making my appointment wasn’t easy for me. After waiting for 25 min after my appointment time I asked why Zoe was delayed to the receptionist. She hadn’t even asked the stylist and asked me if she should go and ask. After asking she said I could reschedule because she was going to be up to another 45 min. Was the plan to let me sit there for over an hour waiting? I waited a week for this appointment and I am so disappointed. Will not be returning.

Kelsey is a very talented and friendly stylist. She, along with the safety precautions taken by the Hair Bar, made me feel very safe and comfortable during my appointment. I am thrilled with my new hair style, and would strongly recommend Kelsey and the Hair Bar to anyone looking for a professional hair cut and style.

I love this place, I am pretty particular about my cut and colour and Jess nails it every time. She’s super knowledgeable and a great communicator, always makes sure we’re both on the same page and the result is always perfection! Everyone is super nice, always good vibes. Highly recommend!

When I first walked in my thoughts were that this place was way to fancy for my tastes but I quickly felt really at home and welcomed by the hair stylists working. I had a stylist that was well educated in blonde hair and colouring blonde as well which was great! The cost to get my hair done was a bit expensive but so worth the cost. Im very happy I went here and I'll come back again for sure.

i went to the hair bar for the first time last night and Breanne did my hair. She was very professional and friendly. She took her time and did a great job on my hair and the price was totally reasonable. I liked this place because it was professional without being pretentious. I felt welcome and at ease. Will be going back for sure.

Love this place. The people are super nice and they have great hairstylists. The owner cuts my hair and does a beautiful job on my curly hair ☺️ The receptionist Chelsea is a sweetheart ☺️ Always a good experience when I'm there and would highly recommend.
