Our review is based on this company’s lack of professionalism and unethical behaviour in regards to walking out of unfinished job.As homeowners of both cottage and house, we have had many handyman jobs done but I have to say, we are very disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this particular company. As a handyman business, you will encounter different personalities and characters and sometimes, you will encounter homeowners being frustrated for one reason or another. That was the case with our experience with this company where my husband did verbalized his frustrations in regards to the lack of communication when they were late and just the timeline in getting our kitchen done was taking longer than expected. His tone was elevated but did not curse. The response from this company was that “no one talks to them that way” and that they were coming to take their tools and materials and not complete the job. My husband literally pleaded with them and said that to get the job and we will pay them as what was agreed but no, they just wanted to leave us in a bind and not fulfill what was previously agreed. As a homeowner, I have never heard a handyman company not able to accept any form of constructive criticism or even have a some sense of tolerance especially in their line of work. Even after my husband try to reason with them about his frustrations, they made it totally about themselves and not about the customer.. no sense of empathy whatsoever about what we were going through.Our review is about their unprofessionalism and unethical behaviour in leaving their job undone. Thank goodness my husband pleaded to let us keep the backsplash tiles and we paid for them as per what they say that they paid for for them. So beware if you hire this company and god forbid that you may have some criticism about their workmanship or any other reason because they will leave the pre approved job undone because you “hurt their feelings”*This is a response to the company’s response to our review of unprofessionalism and unethical behaviour…Although I appreciate that you are sorry for the terrible experience we went through, what you have said was not true whatsoever and I do not appreciate that you have insinuated that being in our presence and environment was unsafe. There was no cursing whatsoever, just a high tone which my husband explained was the way he spoke when he is frustrated. To add, I could have gone more into the sloppy workmanship and the permanent cement stains and white stains that was left on my patio which was never cleaned up when they were here with cutting the tiles backsplash and the cement piece that was done. Also, the kitchen faucet was put in incorrectly where the cold/hot knobs are on opposite sides.. the list goes on. We acknowledged the mistakes and let it go because we didn’t want to cause a problem with extra work for them. My husband apologized and said to them 3 times to move on and that we wanted the job completed and pay them but they refused.

I’ve been using their services for my clients for several Years now. They do great work, are very timely, and communication is fantastic. Will continue to use them in the future!
