U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

Trailer to move kid was Initial booked at the U-Haul depot in Cold Lake 3 weeks prior. When that weekend came, they did not have it, slightly miffed about this, they suggested another depot down the road about 1.5 hrs, as this was in our direction anyway, we went to get it. This second U-haul depot was great, friendly service, we had some issues with the paperwork, since it was me now picking up instead of my kid... but were done in 20 minutes. Notice that one tire was a bit low but looked ok on the road, trailer was not as clean as I would have like (dusty and sandy bottom) cost was good.So it turns out once we got home, my loading buddy noticed that the specific tire is now flat with a puncture. needed to get some repair help from OK tire (other post). Fortunately these tires are only torqued to 50ft/lbs so virtually anyone can remove them from the trailer with car jack tools. We called U-Haul and they covered any expenses for this work. Returned the trailer without issue.

Unsure if is open now was closed for pandemic

The office was really dirty and stunk so bad. The trailer had only one side of lights working and she was okay letting us take it like that. When dropping it off, there were a bunch of dogs outside and one was barking and circling my son, causing 2 other dogs to bark too. She wasn't concerned with our safety.

We came here after hours to drop a vehicle off, parking lot is nice and big but be aware there is two dogs running around that come right up to you , if you are a little timid around dogs you may not feel confident getting out of the vehicle. I think the owner lives onsite so closing hours may vary abit depending if people come in. We had an issue with a chip in the windshield but everything was dealt with by the agent which was nice , probably a better uhaul experience then I am normally used to .

I didn’t like the Seaver’s of the people that is running it for they get out of that business
