Just returned from an awesome 8 day trip off the Newfoundland coast. Even the day or two of rain was no match for the positive energy provided by our guides Scott and Ryan who kept us uplifted with their knowledge, skills and of course their culinary creations. One of the few multi day backcountry trips where I ended up gaining some weight! Highly recommended.

Great service, equipment and owner / operator. We had an amazing half day paddle through the islands, viewing grey seals and learning local history. Highly recommended for beginners or seasoned paddlers.

Another great half day tour with Cape LaHave Adventures and our guide Gavin. It is becoming a must do" when friends and family visit. Sarah is always pleasant

I had a wonderful time taking my Stand Up Paddleboard Skills Advanced Flatwater with Cape LaHave Adventures! The instructor was patient, knowledgeable and fun to spend the morning with! The location is breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time out on the water with Gavin. It was a great paddle and the weather was perfect. Easy to book and very easy to find. LaHave islands are a beautiful spot. We saw lots of wild life and learned a lot about the area from our guide.

My sister and I booked a tour with Cape Lahave Adventures last minute in Aug 2022. We were hoping to find a spot that would allow my dog. We knew the chances were basically zero but it couldn't hurt to ask - and we were right. This company is willing to allow certain dogs (experienced in a canoe/kayak, friendly, well-trained, have a life jacket etc). Feel free to ask and they will happily answer with the requirements and expectations.Our guide was fantastic and very informative. We got to see lots of seals popping up and some great views. I only wished I could be out longer

Had an excellent morning tour in mid-May, saw the seals basking and playing! With little kayak experience we felt well informed and instructed by our guides. Would absolutely recommend!!

Recently attended a level 2 sea kayaking skills course with cape lahave outfitters. The course was amazing well organized and I can’t say enough about our instructors. Colin and Jen were two very knowledgeable and inspiring people. They answered every question with knowledge and professionalism. The owners were also extremely friendly and helpful in any way required. I’m blown away by the level of skills and professional knowledge this company possesses. It’s rare to find people who are so passionate about promoting the sport. I would recommend this company to anyone at any skill level if you’re interested in expanding your kayaking knowledge. So its a bit out of the way but an amazing experience, we saw a number of seals and the owner created a beautiful path for us to follow. We even got lost once and got late but the owner was amazing and didn't charge us extra time. Probably one of the best places I have been kayaking.
