We went with Smith Alliance out of sheer ignorance. I would never recommend this service to anyone. Completely botched our file when we bought a house. They didn't get the title into our name until 4 months after possession date and only did after I hounded them. This made us miss our utilities bill and due date and were charged a late penalty. Crystal there is very unresponsive and hard to get a hold of. She told me they would pay the late fee but then ghosted us for new clients, probably.

I can't say enough about the fantastic support we received from Meranda and her team ! We had some legal issue's come up while in Cranbrook and Smith Alliance helped us get through the worst part. The Court House actually referred us to Smith Alliance, Meranda put up with our weekly dumb questions and was very patient. This team is awesome, thanks very much. Should be 10 stars :)

We used this office for a purchase and never had such a bad experience than this.I was told to wire my funds to a wrong account and Crystal there, is not responsive. I am now over 30 days from the close of Escrow and have not received my Closing Package or even know if I truly own the property. I would not recommend them at all.

I highly recommend using smith and alliance lawyers and notaries, I had 1.5 hour deadline to get my affidavit notarized and they squeezed me in in a monuments notice. the atmosphere and energy of the staff made my experience so much better! They were kind, funny and very helpful. I will be using smith and alliance for any future needs I may have!

We used Duncan for a few conveyances in the past year. Most of our interactions were with Crystal, who seems overworked but always super friendly. Seems like an easy going office. I'd use them again.
