Always a great experience here. The gentleman , ( I think it’s the owner) is always so helpful, very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.Always get help carrying heavy items to my car.

Staff at this location is SO friendly and helpful! Their store is always well stocked, organized and very clean! Any time we go with one of our dogs they always get spoiled by their pet valu friends.

Friendly staff but when I visited the aisles were a mess you could not walk anywhere without nearly tripping over. A person with a disability or in a wheelchair would have had no chance.

Not the best location, but offers free parking and a variety of all-things pet.Prices aren't too bad, although I find Amazon usually carrying similar products for cheaper. The variety is there and the service is great!My puppy left with a new playpen and a free delicious treat!

I think this is the only pet store in downtown Hamilton. This is a great store. Well stocked with everything you need for all types of pets. The owner is very knowledgeable about all his products. The store is very clean. Parking can be difficult, so I parked at a city meter on the side street. I highly recommend this store.

Wonderful place. Good location and resourceful staff. Managers have helped multiple times with our cat over the past year assisting with picking out a suitable kibble as well as being incredibly knowledgeable about specific brands recipes and formulas. Their recommendation helped ease our cat onto new food with minimal distress. Thank you!

So greatful for the people working there. My dog has food allergies (mostly chicken and poultry) and nearly every food has chicken meal or bi-product. We found a great food that suits her but I currently can't afford it and don't want to give her cheap food from walmart with no nutritional value that will make her sick.The employees of pet valu listened to our needs (allergens + affordability) and checked every single brand to make sure it doesn't have chicken and helped us choose good food that will help me financially and my dog with her health and daily needs. I will forever be greatful to them.
