The BEST passport / service Canada place I’ve been to! After trying for months to get my passport renewed at other service canadas and through mail, I finally got to this place to apply again. Although they were closing soon, they let me in to get it done. I waited about 15 minutes in total. Every single employee from the security guard to the manager to the desk application person who actually filed for me was beyond friendly, helpful, and efficient at their job. THANK YOU!

Very poor service. Do not rely on their posted wait times. It said the wait time was 45 minutes but in reality we waited almost 3 hours. They are in desperate need of additional workers to process the passports. The workers are nice but after the long wait you just want to get out.

Sent my application in via mail in April and waited months to get it and hadn’t received it back or any update.I got to the in person office at 7:15am in July as I haven’t received my passport back and waited in line for them to open at 8:30am. Since I was travelling within a certain amount of days I got to go in an express line. Nora was a fantastic help with making sure my passport would be ready in time for my trip. Unfortunately I have to pick it up in Surrey to make sure nothing happens with mailing issues.Overall, it was a good experience at this passport office but I would suggest to definitely not mail your passport in as the wait time is ridiculous.(sent my passport in mid April and it hasn’t even been looked at or processed and it’s now July)

I phoned this office very confused about some paperwork from the IRCC that I received to get my PR card renewed. I thought I needed a notary, then it looked like I didn't, but I was unsure of how to continue. Emma listened patiently and very soon my problem was solved. Thank you Emma!

Automated and the address of the Kelowna passport office is incorrect - the Capri office is closed and we are guessing that it has moved to the Queensway location. Luckily by pressing 0 I did get to speak to a human :) so I got the current address but not wait time.

Good experience over all! Everyone from the front desk lady, security guards, to the actual people behind the desks, were incredibly friendly. Yes, you will wait for 2-3 hours, maybe more, but the friendly staff made the experience much better. Bring something to entertain yourself with, just remember they are all doing the best they can!

Lined up at 8:30 on a Tuesday as a walk-in for passport services, was out by 9:15. I was worried about long waits because of the reviews but everything was speedy and staff were friendly! I was told that Mondays and Fridays are usually the busiest, so your best bet is probably middle of the week

We visited 9/6/22 first thing in the morning. Yes there was a line but at 8am someone came out and organized us into 3 lines. We entered a few minutes early and every employee was courteous. We were helped by Deb who was kind, detailed, organized & thorough. Even though we were dreading the visit a little it was an excellent experience.

The security guard is incredibly rude. This man is on a serious power trip and needs to just retire. He kept telling me to move forward in the line, even though I was two feet away from the gentleman in front of me. I told him I'd like to keep some social distance and he scoffed at me and told me I won't be able to distance in the waiting room. He was bossing people around got no reason and giving attitude to the woman at the intake desk. He needs to retire.
