I want to take an Opportunity to thank Matt, Taylor and Sergey. My experience with the Montreal office was not pleasant, I had dropped off my vehicle on 15 Feb, 2023 and they had not shipped my vehicle until 1st March, every time I called they mentioned that it will leave within 2-3 days. After getting annoyed, I expressed this concerns to Taylor who was my booking agent and then she connected me to Matt. Matt took the responsibility and he sent a truck from Calgary to Toronto and my car was moved from Montreal to Toronto and then Toronto to Vancouver. It did not arrive early as I had expected but Matt kept me informed and spoke with me every 2-3 days. Finally, I picked up my vehicle on 18th March. Vehicle was in great condition except it was dirty, Matt reimbursed me for the car wash and my ride to the truck stop.Overall, I would recommend Hansen's but experience varies from office to office. I would say have an option to get the guaranteed transit time if possible so even if your vehicle is delayed, you are covered for that.

First, the cost of my 2015 Mazda 6's shipment (by train) from Toronto to Calgary was as competitive, if not better, than other quotes that I received. With the attention that I received from everyone I spoke or wrote to, I decided to go with Hansen's, dropped off the car at their terminal in Scarborough and hoped it would arrive in Calgary safely. No promises were made about the delivery date but I was kept informed about the date the car was loaded on the train in Toronto and the whereabouts of the train throughout its journey. It reached Calgary exactly 3weeks after I dropped it off in as good shape as I dropped it off. In particular I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Debbie Sampson, Hansen's Client Service Representative, for her warm and respectful demeanor as well as responding to my emails promptly. I had also communicated with Winnie Smith and she was great too. In Calgary, I inspected the car, and headed off to a Mazda dealership for storage of my all season radials. In 2 days, I am back at the dealership for a thorough exterior and interior clean-up. And the GPS doesn't recognize many newer Calgary streets - and I am glad it didn't have to guide the train! After researching and comparing prices between over 10 moving companies, I chose Hansen's Forwarding for their unbeatable door-to-door price to move my newly purchased car from Montreal to Edmonton. They even inspected the car before pickup to ensure its condition and safety. I was also able to track my vehicle status on their website, although there were some delays.The car arrived in perfect condition and the door-to-door service was exactly what I needed. It did take around 3 weeks for the car to arrive, but that was because Hansen's waited a week in Montreal before getting on the rail after they picked up the car from the dealership. Delivery time really depends on when they are approved by the rail, so it's worth keeping that in mind.I would like to give a special shoutout to Les, the person who helped me through the process. He was incredibly patient and helpful, and even tried his best to help me save some money while being very honest with me. Additionally, the driver who dropped off my car in Edmonton was also very nice.Overall, I would highly recommend Hansen's Forwarding to anyone in need of a door-to-door moving service. Especially those who need a dealership pick-up or drop-off, as they can wait until your preferred weekday to do it.

I gotta say, I was reluctant after reading the other reviews and seeing all the thumbs ups, but I got my car just fine from Toronto to Calgary. No extra scratch on it, and 2 days earlier than expected. The booking process was easy, and the update and retrieval processes were fine. The only thing I have an issue with is that absolutely miserable person doing the inspections on the Toronto side. So extremely rude and definitely not someone I would ever have representing the front of my company. I almost went back inside and cancelled my booking because of how rude this person acted in general.

Great communication with the Calgary dispatch. Very satisfied and will be sure to use them again. Two thumbs up for Jason and Taylor.

Snow removal is awesome, plus you see cool vehicles.I am one of the loader operators that clear Hansen's Forwarding of snow!

Their customer service takes days to come back with useless responses, but if you leave a bad review they respond same day.Cost $2600+ Canadian to have a vehicle moved a distance of ~1200km, and it took over 3 weeks. There's more to this, but the owners like to hide bad reviews. Worst place I have had the displeasure of dealing with.

Hello, I decided to go with Hansen's because I spoke to other movers they said no second set of tires allowed, the price was more or less the same. Dropped my 2016 Elantra to Scarborough yard and I was told should be in Calgary in 14 working days and it was there on time. Picked it up in Calgary, inspected it everything was good. Thanks to Minnie for keeping me update on the move with her friendly and professional way. Will definitely recommend. ThanksService- long distance haul
